Same here!! What the hell honestly, clicked out of the video so fast… The build was tit as well like why limit yourself within starter funds? I hate it when simstubers do that, there’s MORE than enough starter homes out there on the gallery, I’d so much rather have my sims live in a dingy place til they can afford a beautifully decorated home than buy a shell with the cheapest showers?

I ended up watching it and it was a very strange video for James… it came across that he barely knew the sims and the decoration was just bizarre (why bother keeping it a starter home if you’re going to have $300 doors?!). Considering he’s done lots of fantastic base game builds for the sims himself this whole video felt really strange

I watched it as well. The way he was explaining things felt like it was targeted at people new to the game, not his regular watchers.
The $12 floor was killing me. He could have had a lot more money to spend on decorations or skill items if he had used a cheaper floor

I finally caught up completely on Kelsey's Not So Berry Challenge and got to the well-maintained garden part that was mentioned in a post here. It is like she is being willfully obtuse about what that means. You can't tell me she actually thought that it meant having a perfectly landscaped yard with plants and bushes from the build menu and not a garden that, I don't know, you have to maintain yourself by interacting with them. Kelsey already found a perfectly good workaround to her Pink Gen Sim not even having to do it when she made the spouse be in the gardener career. All she had to do was plop down a few planter boxes and just maintain them. What was so hard about that?

Also, I know that the Sims 4 can be a hot glitchy mess but I don't buy that she could not finish that postcard collection either. Clare was able to complete it just a few months before. Maybe if Kelsey didn't focus so hard on the twin that wasn't going to be the heir for so many episodes she could have actually got some of these things done right for the NSB Pink Gen's challenges.

Honorable mentions for things that also bothered me in the Pink Gen episodes: Kelsey holding on to a relationship between the heir and the spouse that is clearly not working out. Wanting Orange Gen twins and manipulating to get said twins and then complaining that the "sweet baby angels" are hard. Rags to Riches Challenge is not moving your Sim into a large undecorated cottage in Henford-on-Bagley and just waiting each day for your daily royalties to roll in so you can decorate.

Thank you to anyone who made it through my rant!

Begging EA to drop a free update or even pack announcement. All the simmers are running out of ideas and grasping at straws for sims content.

The 300 simoleon doors as if anyone downloading it cared about having nice doors. And it's like he had just found out that new people could download the base game for free so he was trying to simsplain everything even though the free to play viewer ship has sailed and the expected new players are not watching.
Also Kelsey seems to struggle with any sims that she cannot shoehorn into the perfect baby angel storyline she's chosen.

all of this!!!
She really forced that relationship.
She’s already saying how a dog would be perfect for peach gen but they’re meant to be lazy so I feel like a cat would actually be better but I bet she won’t play to her sims traits at all 😂
Like how orange gen was never evil and pink gen was never unflirty

Lol Rose was the most flirty unflirty sim. Yeah she didn't even try to make orange gen evil nor really make him struggle to make ends meet while raising the pink gen twins. Though then that would be challenge and we all know how Kelsey feels about anything challenging.

Yup, she is so challenge-adverse and plays all of her Sims the exact same. She’s going to really struggle with the generation that has to cheat. I think it was the purple generation when they had to divorce and get back together, she made them split because of the dumbest reason and had them get back together almost right away because she just loved them soooooo much 🙄 (oh and she moved out her Sim with the kid and left the ex at home with the twin toddlers because she didn’t want to deal with them…)

Honestly I kind of want to read her book now, I can’t imagine anything actually happening in it because she can’t stand not having everything so perfect all the time, it’s gonna be a mess

To be honest the cheating part of the nsb is kind of pointless. The rules do not specify what it means by cheating. What is cheating is it flirting kissing a full blown secret affair. Then there's no repercussions like why not make it interesting you have an affair and your spouse throws you out with no money no house etc you need to make x amount of money rags to riches style to get custody of the kids. Seeing as blue gen is doing a parent aspiration forcing them into a situation where they are unable to level up the parenting skill unless they make money would be a challenge. But no it's just do this thing that has no consequences at all. Wow apparently I'm very opionated about this haha

The sims better release some content or some update or something soon! I literally just fast forwarded through a 15 minute video by fantayzia and the entire video was basically about how there is no news. Hahahahaha.
Yep, everyone is at a stand still. There’s little simmers can do to reinvent the wheel. Crickets coming from EA. Why are they not even giving rough timeframes anymore or more details? It seems since Sims Summit they’ve been very quiet.

I found a website that calculates what people get through super chats. James has made a whopping $1300 since he started streaming. Considering James is now streaming on his main channel to "test it out" I wonder if $1300 was enough money for him. I'd kill to make $100 for two hours of work. I also see James is taking after Deli's "eternal gratitude" on his membership perks. Why do people give them money?

I bet she’ll make blue gens partner mean or something so she can find a way to excuse the cheating or she’ll say something like “she talked to this other person while in a flirty mood so that’s cheating ok challenge done!”

Lol just skipped through bits of Kelsey's pink gen backyard reno stream. Sorry if these have all been covered before but omg. Besides still being so salty about what a 'garden' is (well established by now on this forum haha), there's a comment saying they wished Kelsey would just use the backyard stuff tree with the fairy lights, instead of creating her own by placing lights one by one. Also, she was looking for basket decorations and had to be told it was in Laundry Day. Finally, she didn't know that Island Living sand could be interacted with (sandcastles etc). This is your job?? This is the only stream I've bothered to watch and was only skipping through and watching a minute or two at a time, who knows how many other things she's unaware of.

What's the website please?
