Honestly, how is this allowed? You can't be charging people extra and just being like thanks for the money.

Watching Kelseys latest Occult Baby Challenge. At one point her face cam dies so she does a "quick recap" of what happened which is still full screen records of the game and her voice over, just not her face. Not sure why it was so important to race through just for that reason?

Does it at least guarantee a response? Like did he answer that question or just go "oh thx" without making eye contact with the camera, like I saw with his membership sign ups during his super sim stream?
I watched two or three minutes of the stream, long enough to see several memberships go by unacknowledged. I get that you can become distracted on stream and miss them, but I've seen bigger streamers manage to thank everyone who donates or becomes a member. If this is any indication on how he see memberships, as essentially free money he doesn't have to do anything for, I don't know if it is going to last long. A little enthusiasm wouldn't kill him either. Personally, I wasn't interested in his stream. Watching him poodle around in The Sims 4 is just above watching windows update for me.

Wait a second, James is charging up to 30 bucks a month and for that you get…what? A half assed thank you? if he even bothers saying thank you.

You have to think a lot of yourself to charge people that to essentially sit and watch you play a video game. The world is coming out a epidemic, times are tough, people are cutting back and this bell end thinks he can charge people to be condescended to whilst he shouts “Let’s gooooo” every two minutes? I just think its incredibly cheeky.

It is cheeky but you yourself have to be a twit to donate money to a streamer who's obviously very well off and can't be arsed to say more than "Wow a hundred thanks so much man". Who are these donators?? If you have 400 dollars to spend on a youtuber SURELY there are a thousand better things you could do with that money instead? Is this money laundering😭

Deli will be getting some of them superchats, no doubt.

Imo, memberships and superchats are 100% subscribers' "fault". I totally get supporting your favorite content creator. But some people are blinded by the fake friendship they think the creator provides them with so they are unable to see that they are basically giving money for an illusion. I've seen enough of Deli's streams to know just the kind of people that are always present in chat and are most active. It's kind of disturbing sometimes. People agreeing on everything with her and boosting her ego with constant compliments for no reason. Then they write their sad life stories that Deli doesn't care about. There's a reason why Deli hasn't been cancelled for some of her remarks. Her biggest fans thing Deli can say or do no wrong and others have long before been bored by Deli to care enough.
It feels weird, as if these people are projecting this imaginary friend in Deli and then throw money or compliments at her to keep it all going and to get some attention from her. You'll have people commenting that they've been saving for months to order a Deligracy hoodie, while Deli is talking about her plans to have a professionally landscaped garden. I don't blame Deli for it. I blame the people who possibly make up for a lack of something in their lives by overly supporting a person they think is their friend. Again, nothing wrong with supporting favorite youtubers. But some people go overboard and it's just weird.

I want to propose something and some people are going to think this is way out there BUT I've seen it happen in other communities. Not saying this is what is happening with those $100 tips, but back when they first started doing super chats, some streamer's family/friends would create a burner account and give money to prime the audience to give super chats. It was a new feature and the audience had to be shown they could give money. It would be interesting if this Jonathan gives Deli super chats too.

It's not too far out there really, remember when people would hang flyers with those tabs on them? Everyone always pulled one or two off themselves to make it look like other people were interested. Or like when people put a few bucks in their own tip jar to get the ball rolling, it's the power of suggestion. Wouldn't surprise me if someone donating money to the chat was actually someone they knew doing it for that same reason.

Wonder if James will keep barging in on Deli's stream to bring her food she didn't ask for and show off random tit in the house.

James and Deli getting into streaming as an extra source of revenue isn't a problem but the prices James (and presumably Deli) charge to their mostly young fanbase and the way James doesn't even seem to give thanks and barely acknowledge it shows who they are. I'm not mad at James for prioritizing his career but the way he thinks of himself as far better than his audience is getting more and more noticeable by the day. I won't be surprised if this ends up backfiring on him. Also side note, but am I the only one that thinks he has a really punchable face?

He looked aggravated for most of the stream, like he'd rather be anywhere else. Then when he had to interact with chat, you saw a little bit of enthusiasm, like it was a show. I don't foresee this working out in the long run. He's going to say something truly stupid and entitled. He can't delete his bad behavior on a live stream and he can't hide his true nature forever.

I would love to see James joining the stream with a jar of marinated olives, wearing only a towel that may or may not be too revealing and then have him sit in the background awkwardly, randomly asking Deli if she needs a deodorant.
