The more Iā€™ve thought about this, old Charlotte would never have approved of Lily and Brady. Old Charlotte would never have thought Brady was good enough for Lily. Now thatā€™s a storyline that could have given the series 5 minutes of something. Big rift with Miranda and Charlotte over Charlotte looking down her nose at Brady.

Instead we get Charlotte and the sex doll face, waxing lyrical about Lily and Brady having babies, in the same vein as her space cake ranting. Perhaps she regularly partakes in them now? Would explain how sheā€™s a parody of the old Charlotte.

The estate agent basically inferring that Seema - the successful realtor is nothing more than a prostitute was horrible and Seema should have called him out immediately. The whole scene was ick. Lazy writing again šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

I wanted to like Seema, but last episode and this one I've noticed her acting has been so flat. Just phoning the lines in as if she's reading from cue cards. Maybe she was always like this and the whole series was so terrible I didn't especially notice
Same

I know I hated it all, but somehow hardly remember anything šŸ¤£
My main memory from last season is just endless "I'm Che diaz" šŸ¤£

It seems like a man wrote that scene, itā€™s not something a woman would write. Maybe the whole issue is that Michael Patrick King is writing this show and cos the successful old one belonged to him no one is standing up to him?

I remember reading a plausible argument that Samantha was basically a gay man in the form of a female character. The original series got away with being a delightfully camp, cartoonish comedy, because it was about extroverted younger women whose lives chime more with gay men; parties, clubbing, fashion, in-jokes etc. But the stereotypical middle-aged woman has less in common with her gay best friend, and I think the show suffers because of it. At times it's cruel, like Miranda's character, and at times it's almost written in disgust, like Samantha in the first film shovelling some sort of cream into her flange under the desk in her feckin office ffs to deal with some woman problem that makes men go EW!

Love the reminiscing about Magda. Such a great character and played brilliantly by the actress - Magda really helped to soften Miranda in the original series and they shared some very tender moments as the series progressed. Itā€™s a shame there has been ZERO references to her by Miranda or Brady considering what a big part of their life she was.

Anyway, the latest episode ā€¦ā€¦ it was crap. Far too much going on for one episode and none of it linked together. Itā€™s as if they shot loads of scenes and then just randomly stitched the episode together in the cutting room. šŸ«” itā€™s so confusing to follow now, timeline wise!!

There was plenty of stupid plot points throughout the season so far but the whole Brady/Lily storyline was pointless for me and very much not needed. I think if they were going to insist on doing it, they should have done it better than they did. 10-20 mins of back and forth ā€œdid they? Didnā€™t they? Whatā€™s to come of this if it happenedā€ from both Charlotte and Miranda, only for the whole storyline to be dropped in 1 sentence was so stupid

Didn't we also predict that here (as a joke..?) I doh get the timing of anything at all. I would have liked to see aidens House, instead justb random mention of the fact she had met the sons, what's dven the point?

I havenā€™t watched the new episode yet, (Iā€™m trying to psych myself up for it) but Iā€™m watching an old episode of SATC and I recognised Carrieā€™s protĆ©gĆ©e from season 2! Has anyone watched Supernatural? I canā€™t believe Meg was in the Hamptons before she was a demon šŸ˜‚
