I don’t really understand, post break up with Miranda, why Che would still be in Carrie’s life at all?

They weren’t actually really friends to begin with, just work colleagues. If my best friend of 35 or so years and a really tumultuous time with a divorce, alcoholism, an enormous change in their life in finding their sexuality, and a hugely fast an intense relationship that saw them abandon their life and move across the country, and then that person dumped them, leaving them vulnerable and questioning everything (which is now Miranda would/should be), I doubt I’d retain this person as a mate? Coz my real long term best friend probably wouldn’t be overly ok with it?
 
I’m amazed at how many podcasts are commentating on AJLT but I guess that’s where podcasting is heading, discussing and critiquing tv shows? But the official writers room podcast is something else! I listen to it just to get incredulous about so pleased with themselves they are, chiefly MPK who just thinks he’s written and produced oscar winning scripts!
 
So, episode 9!

Aiden- I dislike him more and more as this goes on. He's so wishy washy! Is it a coincidence Wyatt is almost an anagram of twatty?!
Seema- trying too hard to replace Sam with her.
Nya- pointless storyline but glad she made Miranda uncomfortable.
Miranda- horribly judgmental about how Brady might live his life but good on him for turning that back on her.
Charlotte- like a caricature of herself.
LTW & husband/Anthony & poet/Che- irrelevant.

What a flashback moment for me when Carrie told Miranda and Charlotte she was selling her apartment- their first split second reaction reminded me of how unsupportive Miranda was when Carrie said she was going to Paris- like she couldn't stand anything changing for Carrie.

Can't see Aiden slobbing round in the new apartment in his meffy undies eating fried chicken.

Where do I start?
I don't care that LTW is sleepy or pregnant.
I don't care that Lily and Brady are shagging. But why did Charlotte ask Lily to go to Brooklyn to meet Brady at Scout? Isn't Scout in Manhattan? And who cares if he takes a year out to work in his dad's bar?
Glad Nya's getting some action and that karma is biting Miranda on the arse for getting finger-blasted in earshot of poor, piss-the-bed Carrie. Miranda needs to find some new muff, it's bleeping NYC Miranda, there are other lesbians. But I thought Nya and her ex were mates, why would she only find out his new bird is like 7 months pregnant by looking on Instagram?
Aidan's ex wife is absolutely right in what she said to Carrie, and Carrie was typically arsey about it. Kathy is also another great SATC recycled actor, as it is Rosemarie de Witt who previously played Fern who failed to have Miranda's back at her old law firm. (And also most memorably to me, Midge in Mad Men.)
Not buying Anthony and the Italian poet guy as a couple at all and them getting it on in a teenage kids' bedroom is just :sick:, especially since he knows both kids are in the house.
The new apartment is gorgeous and way more "Carrie" than the previous one with the mysterious buzzing noise, but I foresee her and Aidan not working out for some reason and I think Miranda will end up moving in with Carrie cos she'll lose her Brooklyn house in the divorce and won't want to listen to Nya shagging forever. And I think Carrie will keep her old place and rent it to the jewellery designer girl.
I really want Bitsy and Bobby's kid to turn up!!!!! And be called like Bobsy or something.
 
I’m only 2 minutes in and I’m already (irrationally) annoyed 😂

Also did I maybe fast forward more of last weeks episode than I thought?? When did Carrie go to Virginia and meet Aidan’s sons? And when did she get this new place? I think I must have missed a few things 🤣

And really was there any need to see Aidan in his tighty whities? 🤢
