*** Major spoiler ahead ***

Just finished watching it and - meh! Miranda back working at a law firm and Charlotte back at the gallery is good. They are starting to feel more like their original characters.

Carrie is getting more pathetic by the episode! Seriously. Did she really just ask Miranda if Big - the man she spent 6 years chasing and then 20 years blissfully happily married to - was a mistake? WTF!! Come on. Aidan must have an incredible dick that's all I'll say.

She has yet again blown off her friends for a man. She either didn't remember or didn't care that she was supposed to be going to the Hamptons with Seema for the summer. Really? Did she really put Aidan before her friends after just one month? Is she that eager to be married again?

Aidan must be a masochist!

I have to admit I was really happy to see Aiden in the last episode but seeing his upper torso just gave me the ick..... I appreciate we all get older but it didn't seem real! Did anyone else think it looked..... odd.
I used to really fancy him, but he freaks me the hell out.
I also think Che is more likeable away from Miranda, but she's still annoying as hell
Also, this Italian guy that Anthony likes, Giuseppe is it?..erm why has he got a Russian accent???

I don’t hate Che anymore!

I hate Che with Miranda mostly because of how Miranda acts like a teenager. Che was actually pretty empathetic about why Carrie and Aiden didn’t work out unlike Miranda (little Miss ‘I’m in a romcom’) giving her tit for going too fast

the bakery dude isn’t hot nor is he anything resembling Italian!! 😂

Charlotte is kinder as real Charlotte - she’’d have empathised with the boss not used it to feel better about herself. It was patronising not liberating!

The writers of this show have become lazy AF and seem to think the viewers have the memory of a goldfish. Big was no angel in the series and neither was Carrie. But he was her one true love IMO, not this "big mistake" as claimed by Carrie in the latest episode.

"Big mistake" is their justification for Aiden's return and to write off a significant relationship that was central to the entirety of the SATC franchise which includes 6 original seasons, 2 movies and the first few episodes AJLT.

So for Carrie to even consider whether marrying Big was a mistake, would she still be saying that if he was alive? & As for Aiden, wot a head for hanging around ultimately being 2nd best...but then I again I guess when your in your early,/mid 50's do you just want companionship regardless of the circumstances & preferably with someone you already know ?? (Last sentence sounds like the good old days of Carrie writing her column & ending it with a question) 😂

Aidan is giving me the ick. "Kisssinng coussinns" 🤮 they spent a fortune on hotels, renting Che's apartment and kitting it out all because he can't be in Carrie's apartment, get over it man! 🥴
And I'm sure Charlotte worrying that she has a belly (she doesn't) and then being totally fine when she sees the plus-size woman in a crop top at work was supposed to be an empowering body positive moment, but it just made me 🤦‍♀️
there's such a weird mix between them attempting to be body positive and yet still being trapped in the early 2000s . It makes no sense

Totally. Stupid storyline. I'd much prefer it if they embraced a 'we're in our 50s and fabulous, suck it up' or just went full Bitsy about it all.

This latest episode was dry and saccharine, like a week old chocolate macaroon. I’ve been watching the old eps simultaneously and am on season 2 and I think half the charm was how jaded they all were. It was clever and kind of relatable. Now they’re all happy and rich and it’s some it’s so boring and predictable.

Carrie was still the worst back then too tho.

At the end of the day, Aidan married and had a child with someone very shortly after he and Carrie split. I still cringe at the episode where she ran into him on the street whilst running away from Berger (who she didn’t want to see her looking less than fabulous before their date) and it made Carrie seem so childish and pathetic when he was standing with his baby son and Carrie proclaimed “I have a date” 🤦🏻‍♀️ Aidan then went on to have 2 more children. So for Carrie to be asking if Big was a mistake is just ridiculous. She f**ked it up with Aidan when she was sleeping with Big for weeks behind his back in Season 3 - like 24 years ago! That should have been the end of Carrie and Aidan forever. I loved SATC Aidan. This is horse tit!

Also rewatching season 2. Carrie is so bloody needy with Big. Sam was brilliant. 'I'm sorry, did someone just order a Victorian straight up?' 🤣
