Part of the issue with this new series there is't Sam acting as a buffer to their tit personalities.

Miranda always treated Steve like tit even when she loved him. She was nicest to him when he was with someone else.

I'm just rewatching and started season 3 yesterday. You are absolutely right, Miranda has always been a bit of a bleep to Steve. It comes across as though she's his world but Steve is a make do for her.

I've really gone off her

And as for episode 9, I really want one of those body gyms advertised before!!!
 
Another filler episode like 9 episodes and 7 of them have been fillers

Miranda is self involved and has a higher opinion of herself due to her Harvard education and where she lives. But in reality she’s up her own arse and a bleep at times. She was so mean to most of her partners and unwilling to commit to anyone and as soon as the going got tough threw a tantrum and left.
 
Let’s hope David Eigenberg doesn’t come back for series 2. They are basically making fun of him in this show and making Steven seem pathetic and treating him as a character of convenience to let Miranda have affairs and have a mid life crisis.

Thankfully he hasn’t been in it much as he has a full time main star role in Chicago Fire and is not treated like a joke in that show

Were the female writers among the crew really ok going along with a storyline that drives menstrual fetishists wild? I feel like this series needs an exorcism
 
Also you all shouldn’t have mentioned Miranda’s teeth! I can’t stop staring, they’re grey, flat yet somehow spiky all at the same time, she looks like a baby shark!

also, why is Lily asking her mom on advice on a tampon a massive plot? Then finishing it off with Charlotte bleeding all over her white trousers! This is literally a wet dream for an Autogynephilic man who fetishises periods, with the teen girl needing instruction, losing the string, their mom helping and them and their mom speaking about it. I know it’s weird but these men do be weird and genuinely do be getting off on tit like this

I feel really gross about this scene. There is a leaflet on the tampon box - you do not show your teenage daughter how to insert a tampon. It's a sicko's dream.

Also, just why? What is the need? I can understand the show wanting to get to grips with being a parent of a teen but not in this way so we have another cheap laugh at Charlotte. It would have been nice for the show to address sustainable periodware too, like period pants or a cup instead.
 
Sorry to gatecrash the thread, but as a SATC fan since I was a teen, what a car crash this “reboot” is! Seriously, why are we doing this to ourselves?! I keep watching hoping some of the magic of the original series will be captured, but no. Just a disjointed, pathetic mess shoehorning in every diversity trope possible. What is this mess?! I’m siding with Kim Cattrall that SJP is a massive narcissist who has roped these poor actors into living out some fantasy she has of these characters still being relevant to today’s audience.
