They obviously had to cut the scenes, but after chatting to a friend of mine she thinks the two of them spent the night reminiscing about their deceased partners, toasting them per story told and that's why they were so drunk at the end of the date. Would explain why they were both sick as nothing clarified the end of their meeting.

I’m almost glad that Kim turned down AJLT, after watching this bullshit I dread to think what they’d have done to Samantha’s character! 😱
