I'm getting really pissed off with Miranda's behaviour in this series. How is no one addressing the fact that she is CHEATING on Steve!? After all the tit she gave him for his one slip up and now she's actively pursuing an affair with Che with zero guilt. And why is Carrie not telling her that she is wrong and should not be cheating on her husband!? Miranda has gone from being my second favourite character on the show to the absolute worst!

I very much doubt it, but I really hope that the show is purposely showing Che to be an awful, toxic human to emphasise how lost Miranda is to be willing to throw her life away for a sneaky finger and a toke.

And perhaps the show is only showing Shteve so undesirably through Miranda's eyes and when she stops thinking with her clit, she'll realise what a total philandering wally she was.

I'm surprised at Carrie not pulling her up more. Using big as the example that do you know how lucky you are to still have your husband and your cheating on him!

We've gone from 44 mins running time to 36 since the Noth allegations. The writing and pacing was already pretty bad before the last minute cuts.

Also does anyone really have their car automatically read aloud texts? Seems like a recipe for disaster and lazy plot device.

That would be great but I'll say again I really think that we are meant to be rooting for Che and 'Miranda'. There's no way there going to show Che bleeping Diaz in a bad light at all, in fact they're working overtime to make us all think Che is the best thing since sliced bread. duck knows why, they're awful.

Yep, unfortunately this is the case but there's literally nothing to root for re Che and Miranda. Or Che as a person at all.

Is anyone else also missing the Carrie narration over the episode? Without it I feel completely disconnected from her character.
yeh I do too, but I don't even know if it would work in this messs of a series, everything is too disjointed to be able to have a coherent narration imo

It’s painful….they always insinuated Steve was pretty good at sex in the original series and now he can’t even find his way into her knickers….no matter how long it’s been you dont forget that 😂
really was, not sure whichI found more cringe, that or the original kitchen scene with Che :ROFLMAO:. Also her explanation of it to Carrie after made no sense, Steve is clearly up for it, she is the one who isn't making any effort

Ah makes sense.

I think with Kim refusing to come back the producers and Sarah have decided to give cynthia whatever she wants in order to secure her back, as she has made it clear she agreed to come back if there were changes, and now we have the Cynthia show *YAWN*

Well done for ruining a brilliant character
I can't understand how Miranda has gone from mocking Samantha when she went through her 'lesbian' stage to now realising these been one herself all along!

Where is the time scale too - the book took Carrie 12 months to write, but Miranda was waiting on a text from Che for 3 months after messaging her in the week before's episode whilst folding clothes, but Carries date and Miranda bumping into Che all happened at the same charity event - none of it make sense unless it's morphed into Quantum Leap and they can time travel too. If they can, maybe Charlotte will remember to cancel her appointment at the filler clinic like she did with Harry's prostrate one.

YES!!! This really made the show, it made it clear that Carrie was the protagonist and it framed the storylines perfectly. Yes some of her puns were terrible but it was so personal. I find it disconcerting now when you get scenes with the new characters without any of the old ones, no narration from Carrie, it jsut feels disconnected.

Yes. Without it there’s no clear beginning/middle or end to each episode. Also missing there being a structure to each episode. In the series we would have the title of the episode/the ladies at lunch or drinks or whatever essentially setting up the premise of the episode then the story would unfold and then be tied up at the end with carries narration. Without it, it’s a mess.
