Charlotte can no longer portray any emotions so she has to open her eyes really wide like a crazy person even when that doesn’t match what she’s saying, it’s so strange to watch

It genuinely is like this show now hates its characters and hates its fans, I genuinely think fans could have written a better series than this that would be mute in keeping with the original characters! They’re all so lost

This is my point - we had about 3 minutes total of Carrie and her date - 3 minutes that were utterly disjointed and didn’t make any sense but then we had about 10 minutes of some obscure tennis nonsense that was nothing to do with anything…. It’s like it’s all been edited. Maybe they’ve gone and removed Chris Noth from scenes in it? Flashbacks of him & Carrie on dates? I dunno but something about this just isn’t making any sense!!!
Apparently they're removing any mention of his 'Big' name so scenes are disjointed, none of it makes sense.

I have not seen any of this. It’s sounds like I would love to hate it, but I don’t have Sky.
I loved most of the original SATC but avoided the movies as I believe they are awful?

I adored Trey and Bunny. I was quite disappointed when they were both written out fairly early. I found Steve annoying and whining, but by all accounts his character is far less annoying than Miranda’s in this rehash.
Dust ruffles and drakes...

The Steve suddenly not wanting sex makes absolutely no sense when in the first movie he said the whole reason he cheated on miranda was because THEY WERENT HAVING SEX
Yes but do you not get it, he is VERY OLD NOW. Apparently men stop hearing and also stop wanting sex at the age of about 55. Women just get more horny. And thus it is okay for them to cheat it seems.

Seriously, where is 'Miranda's' guilt and shame over cheating on her husband of 20 years? Is it all okay as long as your marriage is a bit stale and your partner of choice is non binary, like it doesn't count? Are they seriously trying to make us empathise with this new 'Miranda' person?

Just found this thread so apologies if what I say has been said before… This show makes me sad. I feel like they’re shoehorning as many “woke” issues and diverse characters into the plot as they possibly can, with no regard to the actual storyline or flow. And I don’t feel like they’re doing it for the right reasons - each of those issues and characters (black, brown, transgender, non-binary) just seems like a token gesture.

I really thought the show would have moved gracefully into the modern world but instead it’s an embarrassment.

And Miranda…. Where do I even start? She’s the most horrendous character.

“People used to laugh at me when I said I wanted to be a comedian. Well they're not laughing now.”

This was my least favourite episode so far, I can’t even watch when Che is on screen, they are the ick personified. 😐
Che is whatever the non-binary version of a duck boy is. Ghosts Miranda, makes out they’ve not seen her DMs and has Miranda questioning herself even though they never got in touch themselves, and then snaps their fingers and has sex with her.

Just found this thread and I'm happy to know I'm not the only one who hates it 🤣

Not sure what actually pisses me off more.

Che saying she does weed every 5 seconds
What they've done to Steve's character
Che just being in the show - I mean wtf 🤯
Mirianda?!!?! She's annoying as f**k

The list is endless 🤯

I hate it but I can't stop watching!

Yeah what is the constant chat about weed? Is it meant to be shocking? Carrie & Samantha were both occasional pot smokers in the series so it’s already been done to death.

I agree and I feel the same about Miranda’s professor. We’ve already been through the baby thing with Charlotte. I’m not sure why we’re supposed to care about this with this particular character. We don’t know enough about her and I’m not invested in her at all.
