Carrie
Writes a book, editor wants it to finish with a hopeful note so Carrie needs to go on a date. (We all know she's going to end up with the podcast producer).
Scolds Charlotte for calling her a sex writer.
Goes on a date, drinks lots, they both vomit.
No one bids for Carrie, the professor she hid from bids $1050.
Charlotte
Plays tennis, the opponents are Old Women therefore, are '
witches' who must be beaten. The entirety of this series is what the writers believe older women are, but they convince themselves that they are right on about race, gender identity, so a bit of misogyny can be swept under the carpet, along with Big's ashes.
Harry wants to play tennis, Charlotte reluctant. Charlotte knocks over Harry, doesn't apologise as he mansplains. Harry calls Charlotte on her bullshit.
Cynthia Nixon as Miranda
Verbally berates Steve over the phone in public, for not being at the wrong location, and not being able to hear her. Steve, written as a bumbling old fool has misplaced his wallet and Miranda is visibly embarrassed to be seen with him in front of her professor. This demeaning behaviour and rewriting of his character is unpleasant to watch.
Resigns herself to a 'dead sex life' with Steve. You know, if it's not working for you, it's up to you to speak up.
Tries to recreate the Che kitchen scene with Steve. Part of my soul died.
Che gets on stage, everyone thinks she's brilliant, perhaps the water has been spiked with MDMA.
Another mention of Rambo
Che didn't message Miranda as she's high all the time and busy. This would be a dumping offence for the men of SATC, but in AJLT it means, "Let's go and
duck!"
Special mention to a bizarre scene of an adult toddler screaming he has a toddler. If a woman had done it, the characters would have labelled her a Karen.
