Selling on Depop and Vinted #17

I had a little spending spree on Vinted last week - paid for everything immediately and was a very very good buyer (I promise!) I’ve left all feedback as soon as things have been delivered.
However - I’m now on day 5 of one of my items not being posted and it’s really annoyed me 😅😅

Quoting myself BUT they have finally posted my jeans on day 6.

We go away on Monday so I am sending all the prayers to all the goods that they get here before then 😬😬

Hey gurus - I’m just wondering if anyone can give me a bit of reassurance, I’ve been using vinted for a few months now and made about 4K which is unreal, everything has been fine until now - I uploaded a brand new Ralph Lauren jacket yesterday and it sold instantly, they chose RM & I sent that off along with 2 other orders.the 2 other orders are showing as marked off and ‘ on their way ‘ the jacket of course isn’t ! I have the receipt with the tracking , but I just don’t know what happens in this instance- it’s a high value item so I’m completely flapping of course I’m just not sure what to do …has anyone got any advice or experience? Thanks beauts ! Xx

Help please!

I've been waiting for some shorts to be delivered since I purchased on 25th November. In the meantime I had a note left by Royal Mail that they couldn't make a delivery as the fee wasn't paid. As I was unsure what the parcel was (and I'm expecting a few parcels) I paid the surcharge of £7.

Surprise, surprise the parcel it's arrived and it's for my shorts! So I've had to pay £7 on top of the vinted price. I've just messaged her and she said it was posted via inpost so has no idea how it ended up with Royal Mail! The label has my address on it and not the address of an inpost.

Any suggestions, as I'm completely confused!

What method did you choose for delivery? Inpost to home uses Royal Mail, but the seller would have known this because they need to print the label.

Thanks for the reply! I definitely remember selecting for it to be sent to my home but the seller is telling me that it's a yodel tracking number. She said she's contacted inpost and they think the driver has put the parcel into the royal mail bag instead of the yodel bag when they picked it up?? I'm pretty certain that I selected inpost to home though but can't be 100% sure as I've recently bought a few things. She said she's also contacted vinted and they can arrange for the £7 to be refunded. I would like to think she is being truthfull but if not, it's a lesson learned for me to be more alert on what opetion I'm selecting!

PS not even opened the parcel yet as can't bring myself to knowing how much they have cost me! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

You can raise it with Vinted instead of choosing a return I think? You don’t need to accept one as it was listed as described

I have done I think, they just keep sending back their usual generic emails unless there’s another way of raising a case Im missing?

I've just checked and yes it is. It's still showing as in transit
Raise A case, this is why I avoid RM on Vinted as they are strict on their sizes so it’s likely that by RMs rules the parcel was underpaid on postage or was deemed to have had no postage on it? £7 though!

So Sunday night I spotted some newly listed stocking filler type toys that I liked, seller has a name that implies she is a professional seller such traceystoyshop - apologies if there is a Tracey’s toy shop it isn’t actually her.
anyway she still hasn’t posted the items. These items aren’t needed as such and I know they could still be posted in time for me to get them for Xmas but I’m annoyed. If it had been a private seller I’d wouldn’t be as annoyed but if this is a business to you and you’re specifically selling new toys does it not occur to you that I might bloody want them for Xmas and you’d make an effort to post asap

I'm not a professional seller but definitely making an effort to get out the items asap as it's Christmas and people are buying presents etc. granted I am on maternity leave so I've plenty of time to be going to the post office daily

I took your advice and raised a case. You could’ve knocked me down with a feather when Vinted agreed to reimburse me the postage surcharge I had to pay!

Anyone have a missing parcel issue? I sold an item a few weeks ago , dropped it off at a locker . On the website it turned to return to sender , I never got notification to collect it. Contacted UPS directly.
Ups have told me that locker is gone, filled out a form of the details of the parcel. Today I got confirmation that it's missing and to raise a claim for compensation. I tried to raise a claim but it's connected to vinted rather than my account .
I've got in contact with vinted and they're telling me that it's still in Transit as per their records and to wait 25 business days from shipping. I'm pretty sure it's just computer generated as I sent them screenshots of UPS.

I'm guessing I will just need to wait the 25 days from the day it was shipped

Is anybody else having problems witth their money still showing as pending even though the sale had completed?
It’s been at least a week and all Vinted say is they have technical issues. I want my £15 🥲

I’ve literally just requested £60 it says due by the 27 December 🤔

Oh sorry just realised you mean going to your balance 🙃 the £60 went straight into the balance though at teatime and I’ve withdrawn.

Oh Vinted, Vinted, Vinted!!! Buyer's item was returned to me after Yodel deemed it undeliverable to buyer's home. Buyer bought again, this time as deliver to shop. Parcel been on the road for 10 days now. Just checked and Vinted says it is still in transit but Yodel site says it has been received at the parcel shop. My buyer hasn't received a collection code so cannot pick it up. Where do we go from here?
