I don’t think that works for judges as they can have different tastes and don’t know what they are comparing to when the contestant has a ‘journey’. Presenters can change but I think the judge per series needs to be consistent

I seem to recall Lynne Perrie had serious issues with alcohol and pain so I have no doubt The Word knew exactly what they were doing when they pushed her in to a fully stocked dressing room. TV shows of that era loved nothing more than to manipulate.

Have friends of friends who have worked with Ramsay. The TV Gordon is deffo an act. Apparently he's lovely. Unlike loads of "celebrity chefs" who are horror shows. Never heard a bad word said about either of the Hairys either. (I'll go back to lurking now!)

I hated that episode and whenever i see Oliver Reed I unfortunately associate his name to this disgusting exploitation of an alcoholic.
