This reptilian eyed little rat deserves an epic downfall just like Greg with a g. Like GW I have no idea how this thieving runt became so popular, he’s not talented, charismatic or good looking. ?? Must be mafia connections!! I saw him at one of the food shows boasting to the audience about his wife eyes…he insinuated and mimed how lovely they were while she was down there giving him a blow job. So disrespectful to her. However, the audience, mostly some of a certain age I must add, were climbing over themselves to get a book signed and a photo taken with him so 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
 
The more these stories come out, the more I think what a revolting, poisonous world telly is.

I suppose you need to have a massive ego to be drawn to TV as a career in the first place, so it must be a cauldron of all these truly repugnant personalities. From Huw Edwards down (up?), there’s a neverending stream of cess.

I think you definitely need to be the right sort of person to be on TV!
I’ve noticed that all the people being accused and found guilty of these behaviours are all men. Is it because there are more men in TV or is it because it’s a male trait, I don’t know

I came here to write something when I saw the article in the Daily Mail but you've articulated exactly what I wanted to say. I would add to it though that I have no idea why a dirty, stinking house burglar was ever thought to be someone we would want to see on our screens. Sadly there are some people who like him which I just don't get at all and of course the comments on the Daily Mail is that we're cancelling him because we're woke and not because he's bleeping disgusting. I would actually love to see him lose everything because he's a vile waste of skin and teeth.

Oh god the accent! He seems to have used Manuel as his inspiration. He is so fake and false. His voice and face actually make me angry.

Men do dominate in certain sectors of broadcasting, like cookery and sport. And areas of upper management as well, I imagine, despite drives to hire more women in recent times. Greg (and others) will have been let slide by more senior men with similar attitudes, I have no doubt.

However, these sort of allegations against women are rarely taken seriously. Overly sexual comments by women are often regarded as funny or outrageous or quirky.

See our recent discussion about Miriam Margolyes. Or Paloma Faith quite happily telling Andrew Scott on the Graham Norton Show that she'd touched herself while watching him in Fleabag. Or Heather from Eastenders grabbing Steve Jones' crotch on that Let's Dance show years back - something I've never forgotten because she's disgusted me ever since.

I was SA'd by a woman and when I've shared that even in allegedly supportive places it's been shrugged off or I've been told "it's not the same", "women never do that" etc.

Are loads of women in TV pervs? Probably not, but if any are I'd be surprised if anything was ever done about it, not even the bare minimum done about some of the men.
