I agree that she probably would have matured- I doubt she'd have stayed with Jack and probably fallen out with her mum again. However- she was 27 and not 17 and should have known not to be a racist twit.

She always came across as extremely ignorant. A lack of intelligance or knowledge often isn't someone's fault, and both can be improved, but ignorance is usually wilful. Ignorant people often don't grow ime.

Same. I have no time for Nigel Farage, but the photos of the incident really bothered me.

I loathe that there are parts of our society that have no qualms about launching an assault on someone because they deem their opinion to be wrong.
Yeah it is just the usual dicks on twitter saying how funny they find it. Someone could show up with something worse some day and either injure him or an innocent bystander. If you are confident enough in your beliefs you shouldn’t need to throw tit.

I think some are rewriting history when it comes to Jade. She was awful in BB3´and bullied Sophie. She had a terrible upbringing, but so do lots of other people. I do feel that her behaviour stemmed from jealousy caused by low self esteem, as well as ignorance and lack of education. That said, the way the tabloids whipped up the viewers while she was in the house and when she came out was terrible too; horribly misogynistic and class-based prejudice.

Yes that's it - it is so irritating and banal that saying you disagree with someone assaulting Farage means you like Farage.
It's just such a slippery slope having a scale of who it is acceptable to throw things at.

What happened to her was terrible but she has really been brave.
It’s partly why I don’t find milkshaking politicians funny no matter how much I disagree with them. When you see it happen live I always have a couple of seconds of thinking the worst. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
I agree! I said this on my community group on Facebook and the amount of times I had to defend myself saying I wasn’t a Nigel Farage fan was ridiculous. I think doing something like that is quite childish anyway but there is always a worry it could be something worse.

There’s just something about it that the glorification and big laughs about it worries me that someone might actually do something more disturbing. There have been two MPs murdered in the last ten years from opposite sides so it could be anyone.

Has anyone seen Sabrina Carpenter's new music video with Barry Keoghan. It's so cringy the way he follows her around everywhere like a little puppy. Wonder if he ever sees his kid.
According to his ex girlfriend and mother of his child he doesn’t seem to be doing that well as a father. She’s liking comments like these:

duck Nigel Farage. He drummed up the rampant xenophobia that the Leave campaign embraced, particularly with the "Breaking Point" poster, leading to that far right bastard Thomas Mair murdering Jo Cox. Subsequently, Farage accused her widower Brendan of being an extremist owing to his links to the anti-fascist organisation Hope Not Hate.

A milkshake being thrown at that cretin hardly compares to Jo Cox losing her life.

I don’t think a milkshake compares at all to the jo cox or David Ames thing. The point is that everything thinks it is a bleeping laugh until it isn’t. I think farage is a bell end but I wouldn’t like him to fall victim of an acid attack or worse. I don’t want to derail the thread more but if you would be happy with your most favourite politician getting a milkshake thrown at them then fair enough. Or you could be an adult and actually tell them why you think they are wrong.

We're talking about a "politician" who revels in coming out with goading divisive rhetoric. And it doesn't matter how much people tell him that he's antagonistic, he keeps on coming out with the same shite. I've mentioned before about a mate of mine who works around Tufton Street and will often see Farage in the street, with someone calling him a wanker occasionally. Nigel's reaction is a smirk - he seems to love being hated, though of course there seem to be enough sad people in this country who love him.

Politicians having had tit thrown at them has being going on for years without all this pearl clutching. Eggs, powder etc. I don't agree with it especially but it's interesting who gets the 'it could be acid' outrage while death threats against other politicians are ignored.

Not a pop at anyone posting here, more a comment on our media and who and what it amplifies.
