Any tea on Sting and Trudie Styler? Other than the old tantric sex stuff.
I know she was an alleged “friend” of his first wife (actress Frances Tomelty). I heard that Frances was pregnant with their second child when she found out about their affair, but I don’t know if this true.
I also heard many years back, that the affair came to light - because it was actually Trudie who tipped off the press?
I once read suggestion she was the Yoko Ono of The Police, Wrapped Around Your Finger and Every Breathe That You Take were actually about her. No idea if true.

I mean direct family - sons, daughters etc - if you look at Clement Freud, he was so guilty that his wife apologised to his victims after he died. But as he’s got a powerful son in law heavily involved in children’s charities (the irony) a media savvy daughter etc he was basically given a pass. If Savile had children who had any importance, im sure it would have been swept under the carpet. After all, for all the doctors, nurses, hospital managers who allowed Savile to perform abuse to children - how many of them got charged? None. Presumably many of them are still working with vulnerable kids. Maybe some of them have had honours from the Queen for their work too
Didn’t Clement Freud have a Villa in Praia da Luz, Portugal? And was also there when Madeline McCann went “missing”?

Ref JE and his gang... ok so some of the girls or victims were older and up for it... that doesn’t mean he didn’t do anything wrong? I almost went crazy at my mum recently when discussing the #metoo stuff and Harvey W... she is one of those people who sees the so called ‘victims’ smiling and having a photo with their alleged rapist and therefore thinks he is an innocent man. When I told her over 300 women complained she said ‘yes but he didn’t rape all of them did her Oh my days I just had to stop the conversation...

My point is, age is not the only thing that measures consent. The way people behave before/during/after an incident should not overshadow what happened. I really don’t like the ‘well they were asking for it’ vibe...

yes, and the grooming involved. But anyway, any goss on Michael McIntyre? surely he can't be as squeaky clean as he appears?

I'm gobsmacked by the ignorance shown here.

There are similarities with the Rotherham scandal, but with rich, powerful men who could act out in secret, in cliques, and use their influence to get a lighter prison sentence (for his first jail term, Epstein spent most of his daytime hours... in his own office!!).

Maybe you don't know what sex trafficking actually means, but you're beginning to sound as though you don't think any crimes were committed, the young girls were cool with being degraded and abused, as long as the money rolled in.

You can still be raped, coerced, cut off from the people you love, if you are of legal age.

I won't say any more on this, but this disgusts me.

I agree. The age is not really the point. It’s the position of power and the schemes... you can meet a guy in a park at the age of 30 and willingly go with him... you can still be a victim.

I agree with you.

Regarding J Epstein - some of the girls that said they were abused by him were 17 and so how can that be abuse when they willingly went back to his after sleeping with him and getting the money, that’s not abuse, that’s prostitution.

Is the legal age in FL 18? Were they all under 18?
His MO was to prey on vulnerable young girls often from very poor, dysfunctional or abusive homes. He used his charm, charisma and power to manipulate and exploit these girls for his own sexual gratification. He knew their desperation for a better life and lured them in with cash and promises of a better life, education etc. He was a very powerful man who used threats to control and extort. That is not prostitution that is a sexual predator exploiting vulnerable girls. If you read about sexual abuse it is very very very common for abuse victims to return to their abuser - they duck wit them physically and mentally. I believe the victims.

Does anyone know why Beyoncé and Gwyneth fell out? Remember how they were best friends forever?

Christ no!

I think Jools is another Victoria Beckham/Steph Schofield/Coleen Rooney type who likes the life being marrried to rich and succesful man brings them. But I'd rather stand on my own two feet thanks!
To be fair they could just love their husbands and not think fidelity is the be all and end all? Less so in Victoria’s case as she clearly is obsessed with how she and her family are seen/perceived. However both Colleen and Jools have been with their respective partners since they were both kids, and don’t seem too fussed about public opinion.🤷‍♀️

I work with sex workers and it isnt as clear cut as it may appear. They do it for different reasons. Some do it as they know no other way, alot due to addiction but some do it through choice. Its a very complex situation.

not the place but define ‘choice’. Exclude trafficked, underage, women with addictions and women in economic destitution (and UC in the U.K. is destitution for many women). Then tell me how many women you’ve got left who ‘chose’ it and then I want to know if they experienced any ACEs (though controversial) and if any are suffering mental health difficulties as a result of what they are doing. Bet the number left after that is minuscule. It’s not a choice for women just as we don’t make this argument for men. And in much of the world, many sex workers are kids. It’s only in the West that we are crystal clear through law that children can’t be sex workers (gets grey in the teen range). Soz, to all who the tea - just pisses me off.

But how can the ones over 16 accuse him of abuse when they willingly went back after the first time and accepted money, I don’t get it.

I was an escort so is it abuse if I take money from a guy and sleep with him, but don’t like it, does that mean I’ve been abused? No it does not, it means I’m a hooker!!

Some were obviously abused but it’s not considered abuse if your of legal age and that you weren’t forced.

The legal age in America is 18. Also these girls were being trafficked and pimped. There may have been consequences for them if they didn’t go back.

Even if it’s true what you say that they went back fully willingly, I don’t think it’s fair to say that a 17 year old girl is capable of making sensible decisions. They don’t always understand what’s safe, and can be gullible and believe promises. There's a huge power imbalance between a teenage girl and a middle aged Prince and a middle aged multimillionaire, that they definitely took advantage of. They have no business having sex with 16 and 17 year old girls, no matter how consensual it was or wasn’t.

When the NBA star Kobe Bryant, and his young daughter Gianna tragically died in a helicopter crash a few months ago, many people were shocked and saddened. None more so than Kim Kardashian, who had been having a long and passionate affair with him. Kim wanted to leave Kanye, they had not been getting along for some time - and she saw Kobe as a strong and wealthy guy who would take care of her, and the fact that Kobe was so loved by his fans, would help with her image, as she was sick of being seen as just a clothes horse for Kanye’s often laughable fashion choices. Anyway- the story was that Vanessa, (Kobe’s wife) had found out about the affair, and went to confront Kim about it. But the real tea, was that Kim’s last baby, a boy called Psalm, who was born to a surrogate, wasn’t convinced using Kanye’s sperm, but infact was conceived using Kobe’s sperm!!. Kobe was going to leave Vanessa for Kim, and then the helicopter crash happened, and Kim was devastated. Also the only sister who knew what was going on, was Kourtney, and she did not agree with what Kim was doing (going after a married man) which was the real reason that they fell out so spectacularly. As for Kris, well, she made sure that Kim made a very public tribute to Kobe and Gianna, and poor Vanessa had to keep quiet in order to preserve her late husband and daughters memory. But that still leaves baby psalm. Look at pictures of Kobe and Psalm, two peas in a pod. Kanye apparently knows, but won’t leave Kim as he does love her in his own way, and he would never want to be parted from his kids, even the one that isn’t his.!! Kim never changes does she 😉

Edit to add - Concieved not Convinced !!
