Watching the bbc 24 news .
There is guys outside no 10 putting English flag bunting on the rails ...........maybe for the football but the timing is questionable as is is about to speak after the 1st cabinet meeting .

It probably is for the football but that's fairly distasteful given the timing.

I wish. I dont think any of them really care at all. All just lip service to get the vote. I feel so disengaged and disinterested in all of it. I have never felt like this ever.

I hope my new MP will be good for the community though. All you can hope for but not sure how much they can do realistically.

Last time I emailed my local councillors, the responses I got were bullshit and some didnt even reply. Across ALL political parties.

After 17 years of SNP grievance/chip on the shoulder politics & 14 years of Tory corruption I'm willing to give Labour a chance.
Hopefully your new MP will be an improvement, all we can hope for I guess.

My old MP was ok tbf. Not great but ok. Did reply if you emailed but I cant say they did anything out of the ordinary that I can say wow thats amazing. Wasnt ripping the expenses either.

The new one has been an MP before, thats either going to be a good thing or a bad thing 🤣

They did have a campaigner at my door though and when I asked what are you going to do for a family like mine couldnt really give me an answer but I guess we are just the sort of forgotten about middle.

After the redrawing of the constituencies, I'm now in Glasgow East - despite most definitely most definitely being in Glasgow South!!! What maniac thought that up???

I also think that the political parties didn't realise that the southside of Glasgow was now lumped in with the eastend as we received no leaflets from any party!!!

It could just be that my postman is lazy 💩💩💩 and didn't fancy delivering the leaflets. We only seem to get mail on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. In previous elections you couldn't get your door open for leaflets and couldn't get peace on a Sunday morning for them chapping you up!!!

I've had my suspicions for a while that the SNP would collapse when Sturgeon went - similar story to thatcher - neutered anyone who disagreed with her causing a vacuum when she left.

My choice would for Leader would be Stephen Flynn but he would need a scorrish seat. But ive got an awful feeling Mhairi Black will be the chosen one.

I see Humza Useless is getting himself into hot water with his online battle with Elon Musk over on X. The man is deluded (Humza) that is. I did read that Elon could release his DM's which could be very interesting.

What has happened to Queen Nicola? Not seen or heard anything about her for ages now. All gone quiet too with the Police investigation?

That would be freakin' hilarious. Be good if he did that to all prominent MPs and Broadcasters ... that would be glorious. :ROFLMAO:
