It's like the plot to a really unbelievable and ridiculous tv movie.

Who hides illgotten gains by getting a huge motorhome to park on a family members drive 🤦‍♀️. Nicola you're supposed to hide stolen money with discrete items that can be hidden easily, buy some artwork that can be rolled up next time!

Maybe the police were right to dig up their garden in search of bullion bars.
the great Lochaber Smelter!

New article in the mail. She was totally lying that the finances were fine. Ever since she took leadership and after the referendum the number of buisnesses donating to the SNP dried up. They haven't been in a good place for quite a while.

We don't need to talk about finances': Leaked audio allegedly shows Nicola Sturgeon telling SNP officials to stop asking about party's financial situation

  • The tape claims Sturgeon silenced the NEC from asking about party finances
  • The meeting took place only months after the treasurer, Douglas Chapman, quit
Nicola Sturgeon told party officials to stop asking about the SNP's financial situation, it has been alleged.

An audio tape of the confrontation claims to show the former First Minister moving to silence national executive committee (NEC) members from asking about the state of the party's finances, according to the report.

The recording, obtained by the Sunday Mail, suggests when concerns were raised about a lack of transparency, Ms Sturgeon said: 'We don't need to talk about the finances. The finances are absolutely fine.'

The NEC meeting took place in August 2021, only months after the treasurer, Douglas Chapman, quit in protest at not being able to scrutinise the party's finances.

In May of that year, Police Scotland had also launched a formal investigation into money that is alleged to be 'missing' from the SNP's accounts – cash that had been raised from independence supporters to fight another referendum campaign.

Maybe Nicola should have listened to her 'mentor' a few years back.
No wonder Salmond is going around grinning like a cheshire cat just now.

It appears hardly anyone knew either - this may be Sky News reading between the lines too much, but they're saying it seems that Humza Yousef didn't know until he became party leader.

Presumably auditing a political parties books requires some expertise. Surely their first port of call should have been which ever firm audits the Scottish Greens. I'm presuming that the scottish Labour and Tories are handled on a UK basis and the SNP need someone scottish based.

But it is very strange how they can't get another auditor. I work for a small vol organisation and we've had several auditors. One moved us on cos we were too small. The next firm moved us on cos we got too big. Now we're with a firm that specialises in charities.

Would imagine even our firm would like the prestige of saying the SNP is their client.

Its all very strange.

But what a pile of poo Nicola and wee Peter have left behind.

And hindsight is a wonderful thing but common sense says that Peter should have chucked it when NS got the big job. Nepotism and conflict of interest all spring to mind

in 2020 / 2021 it was extremely hard to purchase a motorhome/caravan via a dealership and even privately owing to the pandemic there was huge demand for them, extremely long waiting lists for new ones, If new I wonder when the order was placed, just to add prices increased for 2nd hand vans. so if this camper van was purchased for the reasons they claim and subsequently not used why not sell it especially given the 2nd value had increased as an example our purchase is now valued at £6,500 more than when we purchased and its a caravan, motor homes campers are more sought because they don't require to be towed!

Surely if any of these claims are legit there would be a huge paper trail?

I know trustees for small charities have to go to lengths to justify amounts that are tiny in comparison.
