Gosh I hope she goes into labour at home and by the time she gets to the hospital it's too late for the epi.

I don’t. I hope it all goes well but i hope it’s another over medicalised experience just like F&M, solely because imagine hearing about the holistic health princess becoming the expert on natural births and being such a naccchural birther who’s the best at it ever… for all of eternity. Her ego would be even bigger and we def don’t need that. Yuck. 🤢 😂😂😂

Did she say today that this baby has turned & is no longer posterior? Guess that means she won't need an epidural if he stays this way then 😉?! It's bs to say she had the epi cos they were posterior as there's other pain relief they offer before the epi.
Also her going on about how long the births took - that's probably due to your epi slowing things down. Fark she twists so much tit to make herself sound good

gonna be interesting to watch !

i think she is bringing this all up and admitting it all and saying she doesnt know if she can do it so she doesnt feel bad when it doesnt work out the way she wants, can tell she desperately wants a drug free intervention free birth like her sis
---
wonder if her sis is sharing her own birth ? after sarah told everyone about it

The difference is the risk of listeria is very low and what you can and can't eat differs between countries (not just Australians are on tattle). The risk of skin cancer is extremely high. Bagging her about her slop lasagna is different to saying she shouldn't eat things because she's pregnant. You're allowed to state your opinion about what she eats when pregnant just as we are allowed to state we don't care and share our opinion🤷‍♀️ no need to get so upset.
I didn’t say she’s not allowed to? 😂 I said it’s not the best to promote it when her audience is so huge and so many varying countries. I’m not from Australia, that’s why I’m saying it varies so much you kinda can’t just put that out there to millions and hope for the best.

Moving on, but please don’t come at me for my opinions on someone’s literal tattle page, it’s what we are here for 😂

I’ve had 2 unmedicated births, one baby was posterior, and the other was not. I didn’t really feel like there was a different in pain levels with them up until the pushing part. Both sucked in different ways. I just think everyone has a different pain tolerance, I chalk mine up to my years of horrifically painful periods, if I hadn’t been dealing with those for so long, I think labour would have been a huge shock to my system and I would have needed intervention. There is literally nothing wrong with having a epidural if you want one for any reason whatsoever it doesn’t matter.
The years of justification she has come up with over something so unimportant is bleeping crazy.
The painful period comment is 100 percent true! I used to have horrendous period pain that would make me vomit and basically pass out, had it for years until I had a child. I remember saying to my sister during my labour ‘I’ve had periods way worse than this!’

The girls father posted announcement first...with photos...on a public page!! Grrr!

I assume Em and Will post things on their private stories (eg. Family and friends private ones or Wills nopage and Colin just doesn't realise how public his page is.

Sezzy going on and on about her birth trauma is quite strange, since she seemed proud of herself after 🐮’s birth since he was SO BIG And she pushed him out. Weird that she now views it as traumatic and is so scared.

Not me popping "Colin Day" into google search before remembering his actual surname 🤭

It just continues to blow my mind when people (usually boomers) have their default posts set to public?? Like, I don't even have a FB account and am able to scroll through people's entire post history.

Baby might be anterior now but they move all the time including in labour so baby still might turn posterior 🤷🏼‍♀️ to be fair, posterior labour does suck, you get a lot of back pain and it can cause uncoordinated contractions making it a longer process, but really I think she’s just someone whose so tense and holding onto the pain during the contractions and not relaxing which can also cause slower dilation/longer labours

Makes sense that Sarah is spiraling even more if it’s true that Em just had an unmedicated water birth. Love that for auntie Sezzy. She’s great at touting herself as an expert in pretty much all aspects of her life, but her births is somewhere she just can’t fake it, especially as she will vlog it.

I recall from M’s birth that (just as with F) Sarah reached a point where she was asking for an epidural, even when the midwives and Kurt were saying ‘do you want to try one more contraction?’ (Not in a pushy way, but because Sarah was trying to go unmedicated).

It must be eating Sarah up inside that the likes of her sister (and frenemy Beth too) have achieved what she’s dreamed of, and without talking themselves up, and without having completed some ‘bullshit and bump’ workout guide, too. Sarah’s an awful advert for her own products. I’m reminded of Ellen Fisher and her birthing course - it is also exorbitant, but at least she walks the walk (having given birth 5 times unmedicated).

Spiral away, Sarah!

Thought the tag line for the first birth was her abs were too strong that wouldn't allow her to dilate and she had an epi because she was bashing her head off the wall in the shower during contractions.

Omg I’d forgotten about that old chestnut, but I’m cackling at it. Abs too strong to birth unmedicated, HA! I’d love to see the literature on that.

Just another classic example of how Sarah takes something that was probably said in passing (like: ‘your muscles are so tense, try to relax’) and spin it soooo far out of context that it loses any semblance of its original meaning.

If anything, Sarah’s demonstrated that the she has very little stamina and a poor mind-muscle control over her body.

It’s wild how many ppl count their labour from the minute of their first contraction. Until I had children and spoke to midwives I would’ve believed the Hollywood-ised stories of ppl like Sez. My first labour was 36 hours in Sezy speak. In normal speak, 2 hours 😂. How long were you in Stage 4 Sez?

Wish she’d keep her overly dramatic mouth shut. She’s probably adding to ppls anxiety around birth. There’s enough misinformation out there Sez, we don’t need yours

I am with you on this. We would not hear the end of it if she did it naaaaccchurally. It would be like now and the way she mentions how many weeks she is on every second story but just as "when I gave birth naaaachurally to whateverhisnameis...". She would mention it everywhere and be suddenly an expert on the subject.

I have 4 kids. My oldest is born some days before F and my youngest is two weeks. Only my second birth required epidural or any other intervention and that had nothing to do with babys position. I just couldn't handle the pain at that time. And that is fine. But as they say the memory of the pain fades. So she might be thinking now that she can do it this time and this time will be different. But when the time comes she will discover the same as before - that it doesn't really matter and she will still take the epidural because she can't do it naturally.
