How! She only left 21hrs ago. Take out the 10hr journey that leaves 9 hours to sleep and spend time with Robs family. Did she just drive past them and wave out of the window?

She's known to just use Rob's family as a toilet stop.

I really can't work out what the dynamic is here. Do Rob's family dislike her and want very little to do with her (which might explain why Rob never seems to see them). Or does Sarah dislike them so much that they are only worth a few toilet stops per year?

It's odd as even when he's home, he never seems to see them.

We don't know the dynamic of Sinbad's family. They probably don't like her just as much as she seems not to want much to do with them. If you were in his family would you want Sarah for Christmas, they probably feel relieved they are just the toilet stop. I don't think they have ever come down to the house? Did they come to the odd navy christening?

But in honesty I don't think she is particularly close to her own family. She likes to spin the narrative of such a close family with thier Christmas traditions but they all seem a bit awkward and unnatural around each other, maybe not helped by having a camera stuck in their faces but the fact she couldn't talk to her mum about struggling with Lachlan as a baby. The fact she has this very unnatural obsession with re-creating her childhood makes me think she is blocking something out and feels a need to give the impression of this idyllic, picture postcard childhood.
