Evening! Did anybody get any personalised messages or punched in the tits today? No?

I'm glad that any kind of marketing ploy, like influencers, is being scrutinised. Not to mention SM bullying (however long ago it happened).

Did they photoshop her picture in that article form the Sun? I love that they've used that particular (disclosed) ad.

She will be raging (but outwardly #notbothered) they’ve used that image, it’s definite shade. Or at least a conscious decision about what light to cast her in. “Here’s your garden variety influencer doing influencer-y things”

She’ll also be raging this fiasco lumps in her in with the stereotypical influencers, the instahuns. When the reality is if she hadn’t sold out in such a shady way it would be a non issue.

My tits are un-punched so far today, but the night is young :p

Hi, I'm a newish member - I posted on here a couple of times after Freaky Friday under a different username, but I really hated it (the username, not posting - I'd hastily picked one when I needed to join to view images), so I'm back with a better one. Squalor Victoria may spot the reference.

This post leapt out at me, as I'm a veteran of various other forums, and it reminded me the very first time I ever heard of Sali Hughes was nearly a decade ago when she was getting absolutely ripped to shreds on a general forum for her inanity. People on there REALLY hated her - and there were some oblique references to twitter clique and Dawn O'Porter bullying, but I didn't follow any of the coven on twitter then so it went over my head a bit. Nothing on here is remotely as vicious as the stuff you read on politics or football forums, and the level of fact checking here is off the scale by comparison.

Fast forward a few years and I saw her interview Lisa Eldridge at the inaugural Stylist Live event and thought she sounded sensible. She was honest about having cosmetic surgery on her ears, and that made me trust that she'd be equally honest about any other work she'd have done past or future. So I followed her on SM and it wasn't until I read these threads that I realised she'd been economical with the truth.
