Yes everyone’s menopause is different . Menopausal anxiety took me to the edge of insanity and I say this as a psychotherapist! I really thought I wouldn’t survive and had to fight for a meno clinic referral. . Eventually getting the right mix of HRT I survived.
Stop prescribing us anti depressants and give us our HRT ! I have not bought any so called menopause products .
it just feels exploitative and nothing can replace oestrogen other than oestrogen ! Also some people sail through it . My sister had a few hot flushes and that’s it ! No HRT needed ! A bit like childbirth . I needed a blood transfusion and was really traumatised but the woman opposite me was eating a McDonalds and went home 6 hours later whilst I was in there a week.
I signed up to Jen Gunters mailing list. She is brilliant .
I still think we need to talk about vaginal dryness more . So many people suffer unnecessarily with painful sex and even just wearing clothes can feel uncomfortable and constant UTIs.
vaginal oestrogen and daily lubrication is the answer !
Anyway back to Pixie with the big hair .

Some hotels don't put doors on the toilets in the rooms. Maybe she means to say "careful because stays may be unexpectedly intimate"
