Nah, deffo a Dewberry girl.
This sounds 97% accurate. 🤭

It was Sandalwood for me, I'm sure I smelled of furniture polish. 🪑 Naturally it was straight into YSL's Poison after that. 🙊😄

I was Venezia by Laura Biagiotti after getting it in one of those perfume miniatures sets for Christmas in the 90s. I was around 12. I also adored Ysatis and Amarige but I saved up for a big bottle of Venezia. I still love the scent but it's way too floral and sweet for me now.

My favourite perfume of all time is the discontinued Kingdom by Alexander McQueen. I wear Opium when I can be bothered, but I'm more into M and S perfumes these days, and rediscovering the joys of random body sprays from TK Maxx.

Anais Anais was my first proper perfume, though I'd pinched my sisters Charlie for years before that. Soaked myself in LouLou and Eden at uni. Must have honked from 100 yards away.

I loved a Miss Dior soap (the original version, given to me by an old auntie for Christmas when I was 12) and kept it in the plastic box it came in for years and years, not sure I ever finished it. Proper expensive, and really grown up.

Le Jardin D’Amour for me. I imagined myself to be a Goth Jane Seymour wafting around a garden at night. I still have a bottle and though I think the top notes have gone a bit musty, the base note is still redolent of moshing to the Sisters of Mercy & hoping the lad with the massive back-combed barnet would buy me a snakebite & black.

Agreed, I purchased the first generation ZIIP probably around 9-10 years ago and after using it for a while without visible results, sold it. Nuface has given me better results and FaceGym pro even more so.
I have both the ZIIP and Face Gym Pro and can confirm the FGP is much stronger, I can see and feel my face twitching with the current, whereas the ZIIP I can only feel.

Using the same gel and the same amount of gel I've realised that I feel the NuFace more than the ZIIP. In terms of microcurrent strength (and lift effect) it does seem as if ZIIP is the lowest, FaceGym the highest with NuFace in between the two.

I also realise since posting earlier that I hadn't explored the nanocurrent feature of the ZIIP. There's a ZIIP programme that uses just nanocurrent - which, apparently, doesn't give an instant lift but has longer term benefits such as collagen production. Could be a complete load of nonsense but I'll give it a go before giving up on the ZIIP.

@Ccc8 do you use the ZIIP and the FGP for different reasons?

You all seem like a classy bunch with your hifalutin edps and edts and colognes because my first fragrance forays were Impulse O2 and Boots Natural Collection Poppy body mists! So, for the five months I wasn't a teenage goth I felt like I was a Spice Girl 😊

Also, side note, I've seen Amarige mentioned a few times and if anyone would like some anti-mosquito insect lotion that doesn't smell like citronella, then Soffell mosquito lotion in the Flora variant smells very similar to Amarige. Works a treat, too.

About maybe 5 years ago, the Body Shop had a load of White Musk variants in and there was one called something like White Musk Smoky Rose and it smelt exactly like a smoky smouldering bonfire on a cold November 6th morning and I loved it so much. They have of course, discontinued it and I’ve probably outgrown it (having moved from my 30s to my 40s…).

My teen perfume of choice was Charlie Red. Followed by CKOne and J’adore. Then the DKNY apple 🍏

Finally landing on Light Blue which I still love because it has some staying power unlike a lot of other perfumes in that price range - it’s always on offer.

I find it really hard to justify to myself paying too much for perfumes, it’s just not in my budget to drop £100 on a smell and that’s a cheap perfume nowadays. And certainly not repeatedly to do so. I know she doesn’t do dupes, but Sali could certainly draw some more readers in talking about Zara or Next perfumes.
