if she wasn’t still messaging people here telling them to “get help” or whatever pass-agg pseudo-psychology she sends, I’d agree.Almost like she generated her own problem then got shitloads of work off the back of it.
I think Sally and Phyllith are responsible for the fortunes of the tattle owners. She is responsible for about 25% of tattlers joining (I made this up. But if signing up included adding code:SALISENTME it would be a lot)
Fashion singular even with crispsHas she ever shared her controversial thoughts on posh crisps before?
Never positively affirming them - looks like she's finally clocked Walkers aren't going to pay her, but little posh crisp brands will...Has she ever shared her controversial thoughts on posh crisps before?
I wouldn’t be a fan of only getting one crisp either.Fashion singular even with crisps
(SALISENTME too)
I haven't read it yet, but from the last one I recall:#salisentmetoo
I quite enjoyed her exfoliating body lotion column this morning. It’s lighter than usual.
Only two of those appear!I haven't read it yet, but from the last one I recall:
- Lots of comments about the smell
- Technical explanation (for those who can understand) of something
- Use of the phrase 'cheap as chips', usually in relation to Palmers or anything obtainable from Superdrug (plus comment about the smell)
- Allusion to lots of desperate women contacting her about their shamefully bumpy [insert body part]
- Reference to her own issues, now thankfully resolved and historic and definitely no longer an issue for smol pixie, given her secret expert knowledge
- luxury brands for 75% of words, 25% or less devoted to cheap stuff
- reference to a discontinued product which was the best, most holy grail product ever for this issue. Often accompanied by reference to her own stockpile of it.
Did I get any right?
Ooh, innovation!Only two of those appear!
Cheaper recommendations which is a plus, but the first three paragraphs all about that fecking Sugar CrushI haven't read it yet, but from the last one I recall:

And also only missing Marian Keyes I'd be interested on your thoughts on that book. Sali's love of it has sadly put me right off it. See also Pet Shop Boys. I don't hate them but an unwelcome subliminal image of her 'first on the dance floor' always pops up when I hear the first few bars of any PSB song. Not sent directly by Sali… I googled “Sali Hughes annoying” after reading a particularly irritating column. First result was Tattle and the love affair was borne
Edited to add - just picked up my holiday reading. Look who’s been selected as the cover quotes. Only missing for a hatrick! (Plus Nigella for the JM adjacent…)
