These two are rapidly shaping up to be the biggest egos in Hollywood and they obviously aren't going anywhere, so let's have a thread!

Between Ryan showing up on the red carpet of Blake's movie with Hugh Jackman to promote Deadpool, Blake trying to restart her lifestyle brand, the rumors about both of them interfering with the writing and editing of It Ends With Us, T.J. Miller's resurfaced allegations of bullying on the set of Deadpool, that terrible Vogue spread with Blake and Hugh, and Blake seemingly angling for the Britney Spears biopic, there's a lot of snark and tea to be had.
 
I actually like/d blake and think she is beautiful but I find her current press tour really tacky esp with ryan and hugh hanging on, she is trying to hard to capture the Barbie campaign Margot did but it isnt working

1)the film sucks, colleen hoover sucks ass, her writing is tit and she romantices toxic relationships
2) based on the topic of this book, they need to do it more justice, for anyone who hasnt read the book, they will no doubt think its some rom com romance or something light.

you then have blake talking about how she is weering floral on the press tour because the character is a florist 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ justin is promoting domestic violence charities on his instagram based off of the back of this movie and Blake is advertising her hair products.
 
I’ve always been a fan of Ryan (wasn’t aware of the plantation venue) but he’s very quickly tipped into the annoying side. The fact him, his mum (?!?) and Hugh took over an interview for Blake’s film the other day baffled me. Unfortunately he’s also dragging Hugh down with him too.
I’ve seen lots of stuff on TikTok about Ryan not liking his partners to be better/bigger than him and that’s becoming very evident with how much he’s hijacking Blake’s career. It’s the first time in a while where she’s had a big role and he’s all over it
 
I actually like them both but yes they’re starting to get on my wick, I think it’s the overexposure and smugness of them. Why did Ryan have anything to do with It Ends With Us? It seems odd she’s promoting hair care and booze when the subject matter of the film is abuse. I also feel like a lot of this feud stuff is coming from their camp. It’ll be interesting to see if Justin Baldoni says anything about them when the dust has settled and he’s not affiliated with the project any more.
 
I didn’t watch Gossip Girl and I’ve never been keen on BL in other things or on SM. I remember her on the news at Wrexham telling a girl she should dump her boyfriend then acting all coy. She’s a total mean girl alongside her BFF Swifty. I’m glad she got her arse handed to her for jumping on the ‘where’s Kate’ bandwagon.
 
What a loathsome pair.

Reynolds career should've ended a long time ago, yet he was given more opportunities despite being a huge flop, unfunny with a stupid face and thinking he's God's gift. twit. Lively is a talentless low-intelligence pick-me with no self-worth.

Not just that, but wrote on her lifestyle blog that she longs for the Antebellum days. bleep.
 
Ryan is/was BRILLIANT at marketing and a smart business operator. These two films coming out back to back has exposed that sometimes you need to know when to stop though - they are genuinely quite private with their kids but totally use the relationship for attention when they need to…and two movies with both of them barging into each others promo puts my teeth on edge.

They need to go away a bit after this
 
I liked them as a couple and liked Welcome to Wrexham but it’s too much.

The Betty Buzz line is off too, promotes alcohol but BL doesn’t drink, weird vibe.

I actually started to wonder what was off with the over the top promo for Deadpool vs Wolverine and then added on to the It Ends With Us promo it feels really off.

I read that BL and JB disagreed so much 2 cuts were made because BL couldn’t take JB’s ideas on board. They sent both versions out for review and JB’s won so she’s obvs unhappy with that.

The no mentioning DV is so poor on her part, it makes no sense.
 
I thought the Britney dress moment/tribute was strange and although she spoke about her in the present tense it felt as though she was no longer with us. With Blake and Britney not being that far apart in age it was super bizarre.

Blake obviously had wanted her own Barbie moment but she seemed so try hard with this whereas Margot just made it seem more effortless.

I find their public dynamic off recently - they’ve always gushed over each other but it does feel forced.

I think Ryan has been very very smart about Deadpool but outside of that his misses outnumber his hits by a very wide margin. That IF movie was a flop and that was two months ago.

I think he overestimates the public’s appetite for him when he’s not playing Deadpool. IMO the fact that Deadpool is a fully masked hero is a major asset, 90% of the time we’re looking at a stuntman and when the mask is off his smug face is obscured by makeup.

Ha, yes! I wonder how many of the scenes he’s actually in the costume for.

I was more thinking about his other businesses - Wrexham, the gin, the mobile network. He’s nailed using his fame to market those but yeah movie wise he’s not got loads of bankers to his name…

Britney has a movie in the works and some have been wondering if that is why she wore it...tossing her hat in the ring and saying she is interested.

She's definitely interested and this is a Grand Gesture, probably to appeal to Britney herself. Why else get Anna Wintour to pull strings to get this dress out of the Versace archives when she could just as easily have had something custom made for her.

I mentioned this in Britney's thread but Britney seems to have thrown some subtle (for her) shade at Blake in one of her unhinged outfit modeling videos. She later edited out the reference to Blake but kept everything else the same.

I don’t think BL could play Britney or Sydney Sweeney (I love her in euphoria tho, perfect casting). But I would take SS over BL any day, I do like Kiernan Shipka for it, feel like she’d do it justice.

I think they want to direct/produce the biopic like first big one together and yeah I don’t think she’d object to starring too, control seems to be the game.

I was wondering if RR and HJ have fallen out IRL as the press tour feels so OTT to me. Would make sense as a divorced HJ is no longer squeaky clean and they like squeaky!
