Just seen on Gen’s Strava she’s also wearing a mask exemption sticker. So refusing all future vaccinations and refusing to wear a mask to keep her batshit crazy germs away from others. Dick head

She’s gone full on crazy, probably enough to be banned from social media. She’s now fully anti-vaccination whilst also saying she believes homeopathy is curing her and not to comment and tell her that she’s talking utter rubbish.

It's a compact road with a bit of grit on it? If Kipchoge runs the rugged roads of Iten in his then I'm sure a loop in Longmoor won't be much of an issue. Didn't look that uneven, either?
I live for nearly 32 years next to that track and woods from when I was a military daughter and later in the military myself. Yes you’re right in some places it’s compact, but it’s not grit, there’s all sorts like rocks huge stones and it’s quite lethal in some areas. Kipchoges surface is a bit different to that 😉 my point was simply that I find it funny when he complains and sends his shoes back when he’s using them on a surface they are not suited and listed for. Anyway, each to their own 🙅🏽‍♀️

In other news…Anyone noticed coffeetits has hidden his like count on posts lately? Since someone commented about him buying followers and his engagement not being great it seems he’s gone back and hidden the count to some of the older posts

I stopped following him after he turned up to my local parkrun, filmed it, and then started posting screenshots of people sending him petrol money!? I just don’t get it 🤷🏻‍♀️
WTF? Is he begging for petrol money? Are people just sending him money out of the kindness of their hearts? Why petrol money for going to a parkrun?! I have so many questions, none of this makes any sense!!

She was posting that she was happy she didn’t have to wear a mask on her first day in the country. Like properly gloating.

As someone with shielding/vulnerable family members, I find it offensive. She could clearly wear a mask, she is not exempt.

She’s gone from anti vaccine to full on Covid denier. And well… she could have long Covid! Or it be over training. She makes no sense and only hears what she wants to hear.

The anti-maskers are the ones that annoy me most about this whole pandemic. It is literally only a minor inconvenience to put a bit of cloth over your nose and mouth.

I do get that there are genuinely some people that can't wear them, perhaps with certain types of autism and the like, but for 99% of the population there is absolutely no issue. So for absolute cunts like Gen to be gloating about not wearing one, putting others at risk because she's a bleeping selfish piece of tit really grinds my gears.:mad::mad::mad:

Hahahahaha my god she will put her name on anything and everything. And for what? I few tubes of cream? £25 of product to be a puppet for another brand. That hard up for freebies? How pathetic. Look what the online running world has turned into. Such a shame. People, unfollow these idiots. Pop in and look at their profiles for the train wreck entertainment, but stop fueling their precious egos with a follow. And she still posts doughnuts and cakes everyday. That Benecol really is working for her 🙄🙄🙄

Here’s another one… one day posts for people to recommend trail shoes to her because she needs some, the next day she’s showing off her gifted Hoka speedgoats! Seriously winds me up the amount of goons that put out a question asking for recommendations and then some companies/agencies jump straight on them with free stuff, can’t they see it’s an obvious beg for freebies 🤷🏽‍♀️

You need to go and try trail shoes on. Anyone knows that.

Most of them don’t have the drop that road shoes have. Apart from cascadia which she will know about already as she runs in brooks all the time.

They all want to be seen in Hoka because of UTMB but actually they feel really different.

Yawn yawn yawn. It is so boring. Just do the work and research about drop/outer/grip and surface you are intending to run on. Go to a shop. Try them on. Run on the treadmill.

My hands feel dry with all this typing… I think I need to go and put some hand cream on…

😉

Absolutely. Trail shoes are way more personal than road shoes. I’ve had to go through a few to find the ones that work best for me and the trails I work on.
I now have a couple of different pairs - ones more suited to multi terrain and then the more gnarly ones for the mega muddy fields round here.

I can’t remember who it was, but someone on IG ran pretty much every run on carbon plated shoes and it contributed to their achielies rupturing.
Their physio was very much, these shoes are not every day training shoes and they were the cause of the injury.
😬
In races, you can hear which people are wearing carbon plated (esp Nike) without even looking at their feet- they are really noisy. I also ran Manchester marathon and was surrounded by men wearing Nike so I had around 26.2 miles to observe how they were running and it was shocking - they looked so unstable, their feet rolled, every landing was wobbly…fair to say my 3.5 hour study was valid and reliable and the conclusion was that all these runners are going to get major achilles, calf and ITB issues.

Exactly this!! I did the Alton Towers half on Sunday and all the men around me were the same! I can’t believe how many are going to have knackered ankles in a few years. The over pronation was seriously bad and was waiting for someone’s ankle to snap! See many fall over wearing them and they say it’s the shoe but still wear them for ze gainz!

There was me in my Hoka Mach 4s cruising by some of them later on feeling fresh and nice and stable 😉🤣

Just wait until they start with “sleep is so important for recovery in running. That is why I use my Emma mattress.”

They have started to infiltrate my other pages, give it time and they will all be rolling around in bed in their runderwear.

TGCRF got a kettlebell yesterday but I have no idea what it was about… that ad worked then.

😑

They’re basically bleep-ing themselves out for little bits of tit, a kettlebell, a bit of skin cream, a pair of trainers, come back when you get a big contract will you, instead of these little tit-bits that companies are using you for

Batshit. Will be saying her star sign or her aura and a combination of crystals will keep Covid at bay

It is when it is things that are expensive and people can't always afford that grinds my proverbial gears. When it's a £200 pair of shoes, expensive race entries like the £200+ race to the bla bla series, or those inflatable and cooling compression leg things. How much are they? it is one thing pushing crappy enertor insoles, or runderwear, but giving these influencers something expensive to push it to people, def not on.

I ran Manchester too, and had a guy around me in absolute agony with his brand new Alphaflys. He could barely walk by the end and every few miles was at the side of the road with them off, relacing them before hobbling back onto the course. He would have been quick too, but I'd pass him, he'd be dying because he was wearing a brand new pair of shoes he'd never worn before let alone for a race, and then he'd then race by, only for me to see him broken on the curb a bit later.

Rule 1 - dont try out new shoes on race day, esp shoes you've never run in before

it is when they advertise mindful chef or the equivalent boxes of food you have to laugh. The meals are designed for one, and sometimes two people, not a family of 5.
