Why in the world would any “brand” want to take her anywhere? Least alone have her promote any product for them. Do they not look at engagement etc.

OK this is very far-fetched but it is not implausible. What if she is only saying that she got asked there, but in actual fact they are paying for it (or asking on arrival for a discount coz of her followers) and she'll turn around and say "ooohhh my God this is sow sow nice. So tammyyyy had the whole thing arranged, it was a surprise trip, not a work trip and he proposed. And this ring is sow sow nice". And Kaelin will either emerge from the sand as a photographer or else be stuck in NYC organising the "surprise" drinks on their return.

No they are tagging the resort like pros, influencers don’t give anything away for free. So it’s defo a freebie unfortunately
I’m struggling to understand why a resort would give away a PR trip given her following. I’m in the states myself and there’s some big players in the market over here. 163K is a very minuscule following with most influencers clocking 200K-2million followers. Her demographic im guessing is Irish, I can’t see the hotel getting much business from anyone abroad when it’s just as easy to go to Dubai, Portugal, etc.No they are tagging the resort like pros, influencers don’t give anything away for free. Yup, lets not give too much credit for PR teams who work with influencers. Some of them don't really analyze the metrics too hard, and it's sometimes just based on personal preference on who they like or know/connections. I know a few smaller time influencers (under 75K) who get a surprising amount of free stuff. Sometimes you just have to be bold enough to ask and pitch yourself. If you spend your days e-mailing say, 100 PR teams, there's 1 who is bound to say yes or offer something. Also, to get a big-time influencer to say yes to an arrangement like a free trip is not going to cut it. Companies will have to offer not only a paid trip, but also pay them and cover all expenses for content. A smaller/less successful page will easily say yes to the trip alone and maybe a small fee.
With that said, Urika's trip actually looks great. Not her vanilla content, let's be honest the location is doing all the work for her
