I just googled it and it seems the risk is very small and the benefits of having a scan generally outweigh the risks from the small amount of radiation. So seems like she didn’t need a scan but threw the big C word in just like last time when she had the ‘suspected ectopic pregnancy’ just for added drama

The benefits definitely outweigh the risks. Scans are crucial for me so my illness can be managed. I really hope someone calls her out over her comment. She’s dangerous.

It sounds very similar to what I had (also tests were inconclusive) but cannot be appendicitis as they won't have sent her home as she would have continued to deteriorate.

At one point the doctors were planning to take my appendix out anyway because it would've have been fine to remove - despite being 25 weeks pregnant! There's no way they would send her home if there was a chance it was appendicitis.

The NHS would never throw about specific facts that she claims unless very hard evidence.

She has been googling some crackpot sites whilst in there. She knows 10x better than them any supposed risks. What if some sheep is due such a scan for suspected conditions..what are they thinking now.
Maybe an email to her health board asking if this is info they readily give out.

To make it all seem more dramatic/life threatening, she vague posts a photo of her lounging at home in her PJs. Then 24 hrs later, a photo of the cannula in her arm waffling on about what the A&E doctor allegedly said to her blah, blah, blah.

She's obviously spent the woe is me time googling all things medical. She most definitely shouldn't be claiming stuff like that. No A&E doctor would ever tell you that FFS In life, we're all exposed to low doses of radiation you bleeping moron... toothy x-rays, mammograms etc. Of course, drama queen grabby had to drop the C bomb

Any radiation is best avoided IF YOU'RE MAKING THINGS UP!!! The people who need the scans need them. She isn’t one of them. The benefits heavily outweigh the risks. She is a dangerous little monster. So it’s either a kidney infection, or appendicitis…..but there’s no infection markers showing in her blood for either of those potentially life threatening illnesses she’s supposedly suffering from? So she’s not that ill that she can’t do a light trail, and she’s not that ill that she can’t post on instagram….but she IS too ill to change out of her pyjamas and throw on some leggings and a jumper? Agree re there will be some supplement post next week claiming to have reset her system and saved the world after taking evil modern medicine antibiotics.
