Absolutely. 10 years ago I found instagram almost relaxing, just looking at pretty pictures. Then for a bit it made me feel like rubbish comparing myself to people I shouldn’t compare myself to (not realising they did actually earn 10 times more then me ). And now it’s all about selling. Might as well turn on the TV to the telesales channel. Without mentioning the move to stories and reels and the disappearance of pictures. They’re all slowly killing the medium.

I do ask myself why I keep looking at instagram. I’m sure that some time soon I will delete the app, in fact tattle may be the strongest reason to keep it so that I know what’s being discussed!

I did a post 30 minutes ago on my little hobby account with 5k followers and it already has 145 likes. I'm averaging around 600 per post. Maybe I should contact her scammy agent to see what I can get.

Thing is, shw stays in some amazing places sometimes but she never comes across as really appreciating these them for what they are, she just wants the asthetics and the continental breakfasts
