What I find heartbreaking for these children is that under the guise of this "free range childhood" and pretty curated moments, she is actually removing all the magic from Christmas.
The sheer amount of toys, experiences etc... they receive will turn them completely blasé, if it's not already the case. Between the multiple advent calendars with tat presents and books, the days out and the toys they need to receive before Christmas because mama needs to peddle them they must be very confused and it makes actual Christmas so much less special.
It is really, really sad. She's ruining their childhood for a few pounds.
And if in the future they feel they want to say this, she will try to gaslight them with her crappy photos from her feed as "proof" that they had the most wonderful childhood.

Can we have a new thread? With a Christmas theme?
Any ideas..........Go!

I can’t believe the cheek of her asking brands for donations for her to giveaway to HER own followers!! 🙈🙈 Most influencers who do these giveaways do it as a thank you to their followers for their support and give away something that they’ve bought themselves. I mean, I’m no fan of Laura Ann (all that’s pretty) but she’s giving away a Mulberry handbag she’s purchased herself to her followers.

Also - why has there got to be something in it for her before she’ll share small businesses? Why not just do it as a nice gesture in the run up to Christmas? She says “nothing required for me” but truthfully it is for her isn’t it? She’s asking for items to be donated for the giveaway which will be hosted on her Instagram to a) give her free content b) raise her engagement and followers as it’ll likely be “follow me and comment to win” and c) makes her look generous when she’s not actually giving away anything of her own that she’s had to pay for 😡

Sarah Rossi (Taming twins) who I AM a big fan of asked small businesses to leave a comment if they’d like a shout out and she shared loads on her Instagram with nothing in return, just because it’s a nice thing to do!! Why does everything “nice” (note the air quotes!) that Grabs does have some ulterior motive for herself?

As for the new thread title can I put forward - Carrie Grabshaw and the 12 days of Griftmas

They will probably hate Christmas as adults. All they see in the run up to Christmas is an even more hyper mother getting them to perform constantly to the camera. Plus an excess of tat.

I hope they both become minimalists, horrified at all the waste too.

It’s way too much! My kids are so excited every morning for their chocolate advent calendar they run downstairs! On 1st December when we put them out I give them each a Christmas book and then on 24th they get something else like a little Christmas mug or something. My eldest this year on the 1st was like this is amazing I can’t wait till the Christmas Eve treat. Imagine I had to do 22 more things daily inbetween!! Takes the shine off the big day to be honest, some people doing a book or gift a day. If I have a gift idea I’m saving that for Christmas Day! So many activities too, all the time. I asked my kids last weekend what they fancied doing and they all wanted a day in, ‘just relaxing’. Fine by me. Clearly kids want that too after a long week at school

She's not normal. She doesn't work, she has cleaners in regularly to help, both kids at school. There's no excuse for either of them to live in such a tit tip. I still think about the section of flooring not joined up and shudder about what's in those crevices.
You had me piss myself laughing saying she has cleaners. It's evident from the filth they live in that she doesn't have a cleaner nor does she do any cleaning herself

Why isn't her agency reaching out to brands for freebies for grabby to giveaway? That's their job surely?
As for that paw patrol ad. My kids would have been dancing to the patrol music and shouting out the stuffed dogs names as they were getting them.
It's painful to watch and anyone can see her kids have no clue who the paw patrol pups are

The full version for posterity ... i think it might be one of my favourite things on this thread! Bravo ladies.

12 days of Christmas followed by this post at the beginning the new thread-anyone able to do? Think you need to be more than an active member or I’d try

Those poor kids. There is a law regarding children's employment and I think it's only time before it's applied to social media. Those kids ARE working. They haven't given consent. It's gone way past sharing a few photos, how Instagram was a few years ago. It's really sad and can only see the huge damage being done to the kids wellbeing, physical health and sense of worth.
Exactly this, she's even forced them into full costume. I wonder how many takes they had to do and how many times they were told off for not performing correctly
