Exactly my thoughts, I stopped following the lucy thread a long time ago as it was too much but from the snippets of the trial I've read about it and the way she has carried out the murders I get the impression they had no idea whatsoever and have probably been in a terrible state of shock since she was charged and it'll have been harder to comprehend the more they found it. As you said obviously there is massive sympathy for the babies and families but also feel for Lucy's parents , they've lost the daughter they thought they had

Does it relate to when she was arrested and her mother said "I did it, take me" or something along those lines...?

The Letby case is just beyond horrific. My heart breaks for those whose children were her victims, and yes her parents too. I agree she should be forced to attend every day of the verdict. I don't know why she's allowed to get away with not doing so.
 
The poster was referring to the parents of the babies in the case knowing the verdicts as they had heard them as they came in days before.

Someone had posted that they had a friend in court and partial verdicts had been given and they were told to delete as the press were not allowed to report that verdicts were in until all verdicts were in.

Lucy Letby's mum Susan allegedly screamed "I did it, take me instead" as her daughter was arrested. The evil nurse, 33, has today been found guilty of murdering seven babies

I think the article mentions her mum was still in denial until the verdicts were delivered. I imagine they would think she was innocent (as most parents would) and all of this evidence and then the guilty verdict has made them realise oh god my daughter is capable of this. What her reasons were I guess we will never know.

Someone came on the thread earlier in the week hinting about partial verdicts being given. The post was removed.
This is in relation to the victims parents knowing the outcome, not LLs parents.

We don’t have an extradition treaty but from Google we have something called Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) which can be set up with regards to a specific individual.

Someone on this thread (I believe) posted that either them or a friend is a nurse and was thinking that Lucy Letby was being used as a scape goat for the hospital. That comment always stuck out and to be honest I haven’t followed LL’s trial but it does seem that there were failings of care outside of just LL herself.

None of which led to any of these babies dying. This has been thoroughly explored throughout the trial. She’s as guilty as it gets.
