I hope she rots in hell
It is especially the Beverly Allitt case surely that would have pulled up signs. It’s awful that doctors were raising concerns but they were ignored
Those poor families there can be nothing worse that the very person who should be helping your ill baby being the one who it turns out made sure they couldn’t be saved
Devastating
Her poor parents omg how they feel it’s beyond thinking about their pain.I can't even begin to imagine how her parents are feeling. My kids are 6 and 2 and even when the oldest plays up and doesn't behave etc I blame myself. She is being assessed though but that's such a small thing to blame myself over, this is way bigger .
Exactly my thoughts, I stopped following the lucy thread a long time ago as it was too much but from the snippets of the trial I've read about it and the way she has carried out the murders I get the impression they had no idea whatsoever and have probably been in a terrible state of shock since she was charged and it'll have been harder to comprehend the more they found it. As you said obviously there is massive sympathy for the babies and families but also feel for Lucy's parents , they've lost the daughter they thought they hadI have every sympathy for the families of those poor babies, but also her own parents - can you imagine creating a life that ends up as a serial killer of babies? What on earth happened to her to make this all happen? I am stunned reading it all, just seems unbelievable.

Edit to the above but just saw this on lucy letby thread. I know people hate when people ask for recaps on here but can anyone explain please there are 68 threads to go through so would rather not
I'm guessing about her crimes? But I'm not sure which is why I'm asking for an explanationthe parents knew what?

I know I could ask on that thread but people discussed it here and I thought I would get replies telling me to read the thread and as I said there are 68
There was a 2.5 inch crack in his skull though - some accident if an 8 mth old can even do something so impactful without an adult seeing it or hearing the tears that would have ensued. I think it’s going to be a case we just never know.

I had read that too
Ah OK thanks for clarifyingThe poster was referring to the parents of the babies in the case knowing the verdicts as they had heard them as they came in days before.
Someone had posted that they had a friend in court and partial verdicts had been given and they were told to delete as the press were not allowed to report that verdicts were in until all verdicts were in.
Someone came on the thread earlier in the week hinting about partial verdicts being given. The post was removed.Exactly my thoughts, I stopped following the lucy thread a long time ago as it was too much but from the snippets of the trial I've read about it and the way she has carried out the murders I get the impression they had no idea whatsoever and have probably been in a terrible state of shock since she was charged and it'll have been harder to comprehend the more they found it. Is it going to be easy getting them extradited from Pakistan? Does anyone know the legalities around this?Sara Sharif’s dad, stepmom and uncle are wanted for questioning over her murder https://news.sky.com/story/sara-sha...in-connection-with-murder-of-girl-10-12942461
We don’t have an extradition treaty but from Google we have something called Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) which can be set up with regards to a specific individual. Is it going to be easy getting them extradited from Pakistan? Does anyone know the legalities around this?
None of which led to any of these babies dying. This has been thoroughly explored throughout the trial. She’s as guilty as it gets.Someone on this thread (I believe) posted that either them or a friend is a nurse and was thinking that Lucy Letby was being used as a scape goat for the hospital. That comment always stuck out and to be honest I haven’t followed LL’s trial but it does seem that there were failings of care outside of just LL herself.
I’m not saying she isn’t guilty?None of which led to any of these babies dying. This has been thoroughly explored throughout the trial. She’s as guilty as it gets.
