I actually don't think Andrew is doing anything majorly exciting. He lost all his trade envoy roles so he's not traveling and he lost his military roles as well. The DM have had a few articles about him going horse riding around Windsor but who wants to read about that. I don't know what he does in his private life - meet fergie, visit the grandchildren? - but I don't want to read about it unless it's actually interesting and I doubt it is at the moment.

To be honest it's the way that people bring up Andrew every time there's a new flurry of publicity about Harry that gets me. Reading articles about Harry having a quick ride in a field is on the same level as reading any other celeb gossip. It's for entertainment. The Andrew stuff I would consider a serious news story. The Epstein story isn't in the news as much as it was when it broke first so I wouldn't expect the press to still be writing regularly about Andrew either.

That he is a sick man and him and his buddies who were involved in the Peodo ring should be in jail, that's what they should write in the mail, the sun, the express and every other Tory loving paper every fecking day

I agree with the sentiment but surely you can see that no newspaper can print the exact same story every day? People will stop reading it. And why just the Tory newspapers? The more left wing papers aren't regularly printing stories about him either? He's in the DM more often than he's in any other paper and none of the articles are flattering. People just aren't interested in him anymore. They consider his story settled.

Exactly, all day every day all papers should be asking why the Epstein list isn't published, and how comes Epstein is dead. How comes so many royals including our own King and top politicians were close friends with a weird DJ, how comes every file is lost and every investigation ends with a whimper?

There is a saying- media can make or break you- and still, people don't understand the media tell you who to love or hate.

I completely agree with this. There should be way more pressure about the Epstein story as a whole. What was suggested here though was that the papers should be writing about Andrew and I don't see the point in specifically focussing on him and repeating his story over and over when there is no new information.
The walking to church thing was new and I do think there should have been more push back on that.

Anyone who understands the media will know if they want the public to hate someone, that someone could sit in an 8x8 room and not coming out and the media would still have a bad story about them every single day.



Andrew is trending and plenty of people believe the same as most of us here, that Harry is being blamed for what Andrew did. And the media is making Harry more hated than Andrew is.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I don't hate Harry, I think it was a wise decision to leave the Royal family (for whatever reasons). If anything happens to Harry, the media will be responsible for it.
 
I agree that Andrew has been shut away to some extent, but I bet there are many, many stories going back years that the papers have sat on. I bet Harry is spot on about the way his family protect dome people by leaking stories about others. There have been many many incidents of low level bullying of staff by Andrew, entitled behaviour, both when he was in the Falklands and when he was trade Envoy, tacking 10 minutes of hand shaking onto golf weekends and charging the whole thing to the taxpayer and probably much more. But of course, the Palace and the press don't want to open that can of worms, because it may open up the rest of them to scrutiny, whereas with Harty they are just a poor innocent family who's poor family member has fallen under the spell of an evil American actress.

No, the only person responsible for Harry is himself and he has a weird obsession with the British press who are certainly no worse than the press in other countries. He is the one that has caused his own downfall (like Andrew). Both Harry and Andrew were protected by the palace PR for years covering up their bad behaviour.

They have an obsession with all the royal family and love to dig the dirt. Harry has had it easy compared to Charles & Camilla (tampongate), Fergie (the Duchess of Pork, toe sucking), Andrew and Epstein, Diana and her lovers etc
