Nearly 3 weeks with baby N and this growth spurt is having my liiiiife. He’s only napped 3hr16mins and he’s been on the boob 2hr11mins. And last night we only got about 5 hours total. Today i managed my first nap whilst he napped. Yep it’s taken nearly 3 weeks for me to nap! Aaaaand I finally got a haakaa to catch other side let down when feeding and it’s helping loads for the OH to help with bottles! Literally lazy pumping isn’t it 😅

Omg I got a haakaa yesterday and it is amazing! I managed 3oz just from the left one during the night feeds last night, in the freezer ready for a future bottle! Mines 2 weeks old so going to introduce a bottle in the next couple of weeks :)
 
Sorry to disappoint you all who want to start trying for number 2 straight away, but they lead you in to a total false sense of insecurity with their newborn cuteness and cuddles and turn into an absolute monster at the age of 4 😂😂 My little guy has been a nightmare today!!! He used to be so well behaved and ever since his little sister has been here he’s been the devil reincarnated 🤣

I also bought size 2 teats and the baby just smashed a bottle with them then, like it was literally the quickest bottle she’s had since she was born 🙂

I agree 😂 my 3yo has been horrendous these last 2 weeks she’s not taken to the change well at all bless her 🙁

Do you usually get let down from the other side and the Hakka just collects it or does the Hakka actually encourage it?

Baby Rasp is draining every 5oz bottle he has now and is crying for another by 2.5-3 hours. It’s been the most regular he’s been with crying for food. Surely I don’t need to be considering 6oz yet??? 😳

Two under 1, but not twins? Like Irish twins??
 
Any tips on how to make the bump more comfortable at night? I'm 25 weeks pregnant and just started to feel so uncomfortable like it's all bloated and full of air and I can't sleep!

Baby R used size 0 for like 2 days and then we went to size 1. It was such slow flow he got really frustrated with it but he’s a gannet so that could be why? I’d probably get a pack of each and see how Baby 76 gets on and then Amazon prime some more

No, do you recommend? Never needed one with my first baby. Wasn't sure if they were worth getting or a waste of money

Number 2’s not here yet and oldest is having moments. I said I had to call the midwife (because they have to know who I’m speaking to every time) yesterday and I got “not againnnnnnn”. When we got home from reduced movements they were so boisterous with me, jumping on me, knees and elbows to the tummy and ended up in full meltdown. I totally understand why and my heart breaks for them but the “it’s ok to be worried but it’s not ok to hurt mummy” is not in the least effective.

I remember being in the baby bubble and thinking ‘why didn’t I do this sooner, I want to do it again straight away’ then getting further down the line wondering and if I could shove them back in there 😂
Ideally a bit closer gap would have been better, it feels crazy to be starting again, it just didn’t pan out that way but ngl, I’m glad they’re starting pre-school in Sept for both our sakes.

A bit of both i think, it pretty much applies suction and adds abit of squeeze to encourage abit more let down but it’s not actively pumping, if that makes sense? I was shocked at how much I got considering it wasn’t doing anything Its just stuck on!

He just keeps playing up and showing off. As if i can be bothered with all that whilst i’m exhausted 🤣 Feel bad for saying it but I’m looking forward to him going back to nursery tomorrow

Honestly same, she’s said she wants her brother to ‘go away’ as well as all sorts of other attention seeking behaviours 😖 don’t feel bad for saying it I completely understand, mine only goes 1 day a week at the moment and I WISH she was in just at least another day 😩
