Oh no don’t tell me I’ll end up with stretch marks after having a c section! I’ve had none with both pregnancies, now I’ll have this scar haven’t even had my dressing off yet so have yet to even look at it!

@Laughalong congratulations!!! We’re always here to talk things through if you need to. I’ve been offered a lot of help and support from my midwife after my experience which I’m sure I’ll use in time. Take it easy and enjoy all the cuddles for now.

Mine literally appeared the day after my c section so if you’ve not yet I’d consider yourself lucky!!

ahh just had a consultant appointment to talk through having a C-section as I had an appointment with one last week who pushed me to book an induction instead and I wasn’t happy with it but this doctor was so lovely and happy to go with my choice

Thank you so much to everyone thinking and asking about me, we do in fact have baby Laugh. He was born yesterday at 11:34am and weighed 7oz5lbs! I won’t make out it was a positive birth experience, quite the opposite but we’ll save the story for another day.

He’s perfect, healthy and I’m so happy in my baby bubble - even if I’m currently knackered on 5 hours sleep since Thurs night .

Yes. Mine is lovely in small doses and nothing thattttt bad about her but she’s already doing my head in about our imminent baby and baby isn’t even here yet

Yeah on the phone they think they can a full convo with a 2 year old that chooses to not speak most of the time. They click at him with their mouth like he's a dog and they've started doing it to the baby. I just sit there like

Yep on FaceTime when baby has just gone to sleep going “baby wake up” and “are you going to smile” and “you love your daddy don’t you”

I have two, clearly I was awful in a previous life. One isn't particularly fussed about either of the kids, more focused on her latest scheme *cough* failure *cough*. She will ask about them when she calls my OH but it's usually a passing comment like she says it because she has to, not because she wants to. Since we moved seven years ago, she's visited once. Other one is okay in small doses. She's very interested in both kiddos and will randomly send parcels of clothes or toys she finds in charity shops or car boots for them. She's really hands on when she visits too and has figured out a way to visit every few months without using any leave so she actively wants to be more involved. She doesn't talk weird to either kid but she does talk tit about people behind their backs so makes me wonder what she says about me.
