Pregnancy Off Topic #2 Changing lives one Rapid Cool at a time

This sounds really dumb but when you wash the rapidcools it’s obviously in hot water so will it start doing its thing and technically be a use or does it take putting the lid on to activate it? This is either an intelligent or incredibly stupid question.

Similarly, if I use my rapidcool then wash it say an hour later, is it ready to use 3 hours from using it or when I washed it?

Also, one of my rapid cools is faulty. The lid does not turn amber when it’s hot, it just flashes green the whole time. I’ve googled though and it’s super common but I don’t really care enough to return it, as it still does its thing in 2 mins. Of course I’ll ALWAYS temp / wrist check a bottle anyway so it’s minor

It will be from when you washed it I think because that’s when it would do its cooling thing again? In my experience it doesn’t actually take 2/3 hours though 🙈

Ladies I think I've just had my worst baby brain moment yet, and I should genuinely not be allowed anywhere unattended or allowed to talk to anyone unattended again.
So I've just had a consultant appointment at the hospital, all was very normal and ordinary until he asked me what medication I'm on.
I told him I take a pregnancy multivitamin and acid daily.
He looked at me horrified and said "you take acid?"
So I said yep, every single day without fail. Even smiled as I said it all proud that it's one of the very few things I still remember to do.
Poor bloke looked like he was having a crisis, so I asked him if something was wrong and that it was the doctors who'd told me to take acid.
Finally realised my mistake and that I'd meant to say aspirin, couldn't correct myself and apologise quick enough and I could literally see the poor consultant relax before we both burst out laughing for a good couple of minutes.
Send help 😭😭🤣🤣🤣

Baby R did too 😍 apart from a slight whimper at 4am but as soon as he had his dummy back he was back to snoring until 6. Of course I was up at 1:30, 3, 4, 4:30, 5, 5:30 waiting for him to stir so I could dash and put the kettle on before a full on meltdown started. He probably would have gone longer than 6am too but I started worrying that he hadn’t had a bottle or nappy change for 7 hours so I tried to change him and disturbed him 🤣 he’s pretty much been asleep since then too

Off out tonight with my best friend for my birthday, said it last week and now highly regretting it as I’m SO tired, and only slept four hours. Of course I won’t admit it as usual, I tried asking if she wants to postpone and she said no 😂. Luckily my boyfriend has offered to pick me up whenever.

Just had the growth scan, all good! Baby is on the 85th percentile. So nothing to worry about, who knows why it wasn’t adding up from the measuring! But as we say, there’s all sorts of reasons why.
