Ah thank you, I've just been having a wobble juggling both kids!
He's doing so well, he's taking his feeds really well and I'm getting a good stint of sleep on a night which is fab, he just wants to be on me during the day 😂

Their car isn't big enough for both car seats, let alone the pram so they'd be stuck in our house with both of them during the day and they definitely wouldn't cope with that 🤣 We were only planning on going to the cinema so can easily put the kiddos to bed first. I just feel guilty about leaving them and guilty that wee man might be a head to the inlaws. OH hasn't even asked them if they mind yet so it might all be pie in the sky!

Could they take them for a walk to a nearby park or something? I hope you manage to make it to the cinema! It’s important to do things like that but completely get your anxiety about it all
 
Omg so I rang the Asda and was like hiya so I bought a thermometer before and I think I’ve put it back on the shelf! The woman was like I’ll go check the till. She came back and said there was no thermometer there and I was like yeah but I don’t remember being at the till with it or putting it under the pram or in a bag! And she was like ‘I can’t just give you a thermometer willy nilly’ had to convince her for ages that I’m convinced I put it back on the shelf anyway she went and got this machine that can apparently check if something had been scanned and it turned out I DID put it back on the shelf 😂😂😂 What an idiot i am she believed me in the end and my thermometer is waiting for me at customer services lol
 
🤣 try it with all the supermarkets, imagine what you could get out of Waitrose! “Ah yes Ms Melon, I understand you scanned a bottle of Don Perignon and accidentally returned it to our shelves, I’ll have it delivered to your door immediately”
Aldi and Lidl may not be worth it? “You scanned a 6 man tent and a baby walker in the middle aisle? Babe that’s like £1.12 is it really worth it?”

It’s getting me so down how much they’re going on at me when I’m only trying my best, my MH is bad as it is without them piling more on to me and making me feel a tit mum 😢 one even said to me today when I tried telling her how stressed they’re all making me and that it makes me feel like just stopping the pumping altogether and going exclusively formula that “preemie babies do better on breast milk so you need to try harder to get those 8 pumps in a day. No one else can do this for your baby”. They have no sympathy for my situation and don’t attempt to listen to my wishes for my baby, they just shove it down your throat constantly how good breast milk is for the baby. He has a stash of 3 weeks worth of milk in the freezer ffs and I’m still taking milk up daily for them what more do they want from me 😢 they’re making me feel like I’m failing my little boy 💔

That’s awful I’m so sorry they’re making you feel this way. 8-10 pumps a day is absolutely not manageable unless you pretty much strap yourself to a pump! It’s massively hard work on top of an already stressful situation for you! Baby will thrive regardless of which type of milk he gets and the fact you’ve come this far with all the pumping is such an achievement! It’s your choice how you feed your baby not theirs and they should be more sympathetic to your situation 😔
