My appetite has completely gone again, and if I do eat something I’m managing about 1/4 of the portion. Each trimester comes with such fun new updates
We’re planning to build the next to me tomorrow - I’m usually the designated furniture builder in this house so I’m going to have to very closely supervise the husband. All the wardrobes and dressers I’ve put together are still firmly standing, his desk he put together is falling to piecesThis is my PSA to anyone putting off building baby equipment - we just spent a good four hours building our pram, travel system and this ridiculous bassinet thing we’ve got for downstairs. It turned out ok but it was defective and we had to manually dismantle and fix part of it. Don’t leave it til you’re too pregnant!!
Not sure if it’s just the pregnancy hormones, but I’m annoyed that my MIL has told our niece that we’re pregnant. It’s still very early (5 weeks) and I feel passionately about not asking children to keep secrets, so I don’t want to ask her to not tell anyone, but she’s five, she’s absolutely going to announce it to everyone because she’s excited (which is lovely, don’t get me wrong!) but I just keep thinking that the more people that know, the more people we’d have to tell if anything happens, and this is why I didn’t want people to know yet.
So not me personally but my friend had this. She delivered early and baby caught up growth really well - by the time she was 8 weeks (when we met) her little one was the same size as mine, (born a day apart)Has anyone had any experience with baby’s weight slowing down. Had a growth scan at 34 weeks and was told baby had stopped following her line and fallen under the 10th centile..awaiting someone to ring me tomorrow but just looking for any advice?
This is so upsetting, it's absolutely yours to tell and nobody else's.Not sure if it’s just the pregnancy hormones, but I’m annoyed that my MIL has told our niece that we’re pregnant. It’s still fairly early for you to be feeling things regularly, but I go by the rule of 5 kicks every 2 hours. However, they do say that it’s your pattern you should be aware of, so if you’re feeling morning and evening then that’s fine for you. Just check with your midwife at your next appt28 weeks but I don’t feel the baby kick much. I read online that you should feel your baby move more or less every hour but I only feel her move mornings and evenings. Is anyone else in the same boat? I have a posterior placenta
I would definitely speak to work (HR/health and safety), depends how nice they are but mine would definitely be accommodating about that, especially if you’re working from home effectively at the mo. At least ask and see what they can say? I am not sure if a midwife can provide a letter or recommendation but again worth asking .I have my 31 week appointment today. My pelvic/back pain is getting to the point where I’m struggling to walk. Usually I can do easily 10k steps but just going round the shops is so sore and I was in tears on Saturday (probs hormones too)
I’m hoping midwife can provide me a letter I can give to work, I work from home 90% of the time but I’ve got a load of face to face meetings where I’m having to travel in, sit on uncomfortable chairs for hours and I’m honestly dreading it. Is this something she could do? I really want to get out of these meetings it’s hell
Also can’t take any sick leave relating to pregnancy from October as it will trigger my maternity early
This is my second pregnancy and she’s pretty chill in comparison to my first, this time and pretty consistently throughout she was very quiet in the day and then super active evenings and mornings. Maybe it’s just because I wasn’t aware whilst at work. It’s only this last few weeks (40 weeks now!) that I’ve been more aware of shuffles as she’s much bigger. Posterior placenta also.28 weeks but I don’t feel the baby kick much. I read online that you should feel your baby move more or less every hour but I only feel her move mornings and evenings. Has anyone flown with Ryanair when pregnant? I fly this weekend and just realised I need a fit to fly letter but it's £50. My midwife won't do it and says it needs to be the consultant. I bet they don't even ask for it when I fly but then I don't want to be refused the flight if I don't get one.
