Cannot believe I read through this entire thread...

I own two things from Popsy - a pair of dungarees and one dress. I bought the dress a few months ago and haven't worn it yet as I'm saving it for a specific event. It is one of the Alice in Wonderland themed dresses and that skinny yellow belt that came with it is bleeping ugly!! I tried it with a different red belt and red accessories and it looks better. The dungarees are well loved and I wear them for events (mostly family if I know there will be younger kids so I don't look like a big scary grown up).

Should I also join the Facebook group? 🤔

Ah you'll be pretty welcome here. I'm amazed how when this topic comes up in most threads on here most of us are "terfs". And on the Popsy stuff those guys are delusional. They're men in dresses. Some of them with fetishes I'm sure of it (tights men in particular)

It was groups like the Popsy group (and a 'inclusive vintage clothes' groups) that turned me into a TERF!

The photos the men dressing as women posted in these groups were obviously to do with a fetish (eg pin-up style underwear in the vintage group), and they'd get loads of likes and people fawning over them, and it really opened my eyes. Before that I thought trans was about your identity but seeing how these groups were a magnet for fetish-ists made me less naive!
 
So today’s low lights are pirate hat twit with a mosquito zapper, dandruff woman, a whole bunch of knobs wearing something to link in to this weeks ‘fun’ theme, someone with their dress on back to front and someone saying they can’t get dressed in their popsy’s as they are wearing a sling.
its far too addictive to watch

When I was at school we never gave presents to the teachers - however this was 30 odd years ago so I accept times change. More recently when my kids were at primary, someone in the class would do a collection with a £2-3 suggested contribution (some people gave less, some more) and buy the teacher and teaching assistants a nice bunch of flowers each - far less hassle! I think some people did still persist with the home made tat though.

My mum volunteers in a charity shop- every August without fail all the best teacher mugs get donated

Jesus Christ what goes through peoples minds. That child funeral post is so insensitive. Shes saying “happy Thursday” and then stood posing and smiling showing off her “chubby” thighs. If I was that childs parents I’d actually be mortified. Im so tempted to comment but dont want to get banned 😅

There was also a post from (I assume) her daughter also mentioning the funeral as it was her friend. But that seems to have disappeared now. I think the admins on the group need to rethink some of the stuff they allow to be posted on there.

I rejoined the fb group today thought I had previously been kicked out but perhaps accidentally kicked myself out. It’s the same olde same as from a few years ago. Although one poster, I’m actually shocked. It’s a man literally in a dress no attempt whatsoever to even to look like a woman. Apologies if that offends anyone.
