You are cordially invited to our wedding. Dress code: alcoholic middle aged art teacher.
This sort of look is what I fear now I'm in my 40s. Occasionally I buy something online that when I try on at home I look in the mirror and think "nope. Makes me look like a pottery tutor at an adult education centre". The other look is "cheerful but desperate social worker" which is more the DMs and scarf I think.

Out of curiosity had a look at what Popsy is...

Ignoring the prints for now..but why are the short sleeves and high V neckline made like something from Edinburgh Woolen Company or Bon Marche, an unflattering cut that even Jane McDonald wouldn't wear whilst privately lounging in her cruise ship cabin.

It's the ones who apologise for not posting that get me! Do they think that the Popettes  are sobbing into their granola because they haven't posted their life in fine detail that day?
The only one I am concerned about is the girl with multi-coloured glasses who is in and out of hospital and has self harm scars everywhere. She hasn't posted in there for a while so I hope she is doing ok.

The one in the koala dress today. Why take a bad photo, know it's bad and upload it anyway saying "horrible pic". Unless she's fishing for compliments? Then that's just desperate. And funny cause she didn't get any "you look amazing" just comments about the dress. 🤣

That one proper made me laugh!

At least attempt to angle the camera!! Thing is I think most of them on there know they will get the “you look great” comments regardless of how dodgy a photo they have taken!!

Yeah totally. It’s a captive audience who they know will say nice things only. I’ve only been on for a couple of days but so far all the people who have posted pictures look terrible and would never inspire a genuine compliment in real life so they have to ask for one on there
