No mad about the new room. Somewhere for someone to stay over when they're allowed. Who are you kidding Pippa, your gaff was party central during all the lockdowns.
I don’t like it either. That style wouldn’t be for me at all.. very business man on a conference hotel stay vibes. Zero personality in that room

Don’t get me started on the CGI. Is she too good to go into a shop and pick out a few bits

Omg I think it's amazing! So luxurious looking!!! I love the idea of the bed out a bit with the space behind it to walk to the wardrobes. I'd have a dressing table and makeup area there if it was me! I do like colour myself, and admittedly am gone off the greys and Whites look because it's v over done lately and it's just not for me, but overall I think it's v tasteful and fab!

Me too, I love the subtle black and gold and it's a really well designed space!! Really surprised to find that people think it's boring 😄

The CGI is a godsend for visualising what a space will look like in the end, the room looks totally different so it was a major help I'd say, especially during a pandemic when you wouldn't want people meeting up if you can avoid it etc. don't think it has anything to do with being "too good" to pick stuff out.

We got a new kitchen recently and they gave us cgi of what it would look like. Don’t think it’s that weird of a thing.

I’m with you, I absolutely love it all!
I think she probably already has a spare room in the house that will be used for a babysitter/au pair so this is more of a proper guest room for family and friends. I would totally do the same!

She had a CGI made up of her new couch with a few cushions on it. Notions galore.

A kitchen I understand, the bedroom I get too to an extent but I’m still not over the CGI of her couch I’m afraid.

I’ve obviously been going to the wrong conferences and I’m not even a business ”man” 😂 usually city centre hotel rooms for business travellers are small, smallest one I was ever in was London lovely hotel but room was definitely for sing occupancy. Fanciest I got was not as fancy as that room. People that think conferences are all about the fancy hotel haven’t been its usually mind numbingly boring and then you have to get dressed up plaster on a smile for the dinner and drinks all the while thinking of the 5am flight home!

Okay you’re taking my comment too literally 🤣

I really like their garage conversion. It's quite classy and not overly girly but not too minimal either.
I love the idea of the space behind the bed that could be used as a dressing room: practical, avoids mess in the bed area, but still not as offensively "extra" as a Kardashian-style wardrobe room that's essentially a display of designer labels. You'd definitely need the staff to keep everything dusted in those ones 😄
The only things I didn't like were the light fitting (cost aside, I think the size and style of it is too much for the size of the room for me. And the Chanel books everywhere just scream tack IMO, really cheapens the place.
