Exactly, paying his fees, sharing same legal company. Also I’m sure there will be emotional blackmail going on too. MM was good friends with SS who in turn is good friends with PS. If MM blows the lid off this he probably knows he’d lose SS as a friend. To be honest until MM tells his story there will be a massive question mark over this entire affair. Maybe PS and his PR team are too scared to let him ‘talk’. Schofield seems to be doing a lot of talking for him.
 
If I were MM, I would be incensed by PS saying it wasn’t a relationship, it was only 6 times, he wasn’t a boyfriend. That would drive me to the press if nothing else did.
I also don’t understand PS’s angle. Surely it would be better if it was a loving relationship than a meaningless shag with a mate? Is he trying to keep his family onside by diminishing the relationship?

I would never want to see that PS has taken his own life. I wish I had the same black hole he is facing. Life with a holiday home abroad and all those millions in the bank would see me happy. If there is no injunction on MM we should here his story before we solely persecute PS.

Sorry but what bullshit. And please duck off with the be kind. Was PS being kind when he groomed a young teen? Was he being kind when he lied to everyone? Was he being kind when he used the poor young lad for his own end? Please don't use be kind to shut down the amazing detectives we have on here who have shown us for years what he was actually like. Apart from Wyman who was an out and out n, all the others were not in the same type of relationship. It was an age gap relationship but none of them started at 15! We are talking about grooming and abuse of power.

However if you feel comfy send your kids off to be looked after by Uncle Phil and see if you are all be kind and happy and jolly while that is happening.

He hasn’t issued any statements at all. Unless you count what PS has said about what he thinks and what he feels

It must be horrible to hear someone you thought cared dismiss your connection by flippantly saying you were just mates.

But we don't know if it was "friends with benefits" and very casual. Maybe Phillip has a bunch of cute younger looking men on speed dial and this was all understood but not discussed - or agreed with. Maybe Mathew thought he could make him "fall in love" with him? Maybe he was cool with it?

No one gay partnership is typical but a lot of the guys I used to hang about with had a "don't ask, don't tell" arrangement with their partners (this was before gay marriage, mind you, so it was quite a while ago). Some would pretend to be loyal and got off on the deceit. The gay women I knew could be in similarly potentially emotionally messy arrangements.

To be honest, I think it's the "non-scene" men and women that tend to be loyal to their partners!

If he does manage to interview him I do hope Dan tones down the intense staring and almost climactic excitement to be reporting on the topic. If it does happen he needs to be calm and not talk over the lad.

I don't dislike Dan but he can be a bit too intense.

I loathe the 'be kind' mantra. It would be wonderful if it was a pure, honest belief but it's hijacked by the extremely guilty to try and manipulate people into not punishing them for their awful crimes against others.
 
I wasn't on Tattle at the time of the great 'coming out' but have just been reading the threads from around then. I don't watch TM but I do watch DOI. I had forgotten this 🤢.

In the event, I think Ashley Banjo said something to Schofield about his bravery - no, not exactly, something like you have had quite a week, and that was all.

Bad enough that a TM programme was dedicated to him 🙄 - something I will never understand.
 
Good evening all,I don’t usually post here as Phillip isn't someone who bothered me and I admit when the rumour’s started I thought nah it’s just joe public putting two and two together, that is until he admitted the ‘affair ‘ then not only admitted it but stepped down I thought then it’s more than an affair people don’t lose their jobs for an affair,no if’s or buts it just wouldn’t happen for a basic affair so it’s got to be more and even on the slightest off chance it’s all above board with MM then somewhere in the background has to be something bigger, I won’t fawnnover DH or EH because they have finally decided to admit it because if it is a safeguarding issue then that is everybody’s business and it should have. Been taken further if it was known about at the time, unless they do know it’s above board with MM but by speaking up about him will unleash the darker secret that’s being covered.

I struggle with #bekind where Schofield is concerned considering he turned a blind eye to his brother‘s abuse of a school boy, for me that speaks volumes about the kind of man PS is. That young boy went through hell and back and could still be suffering at the hands of his brother if he hadn’t been reported to the Police by another. I hope if MM reads this and feels he has been coerced/mistreated which I suspect he has, it helps him speak out like this young boy bravely did about what he suffered.
