lolssss Eamonn on fire talking about PS now on GB news

- mentioned that Phil said "I'm stepping down" and Eamonn said "no mate, you were sacked. you were given your P45" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

- basically said that the head woman at ITV wouldn't be allowing Eamonn and Ruth back to host

- Isabel questioned if there was something more sinister behind PS departure - Eamonn brushed over it a little but said that everyone knows what's really behind it

- Eamonn also saying lots of people in the industry in his phone heralding his departure

- Eamonn questioning why he's hosting the soap awards and asking who would want to receive an award from him anyway given nobody likes him

- questioning ITV's statement about mentioning how they will continue to support staff - Eamonn asks why and how? why support someone who has "stepped down"

- digs at Holly for her statement saying he'll be missed on the sofa as Eamonn points out she wanted him gone!
go on Eamonn lad ! spill that tea!
there goes the chance of them presenting then sadly

The papers had got wind of the MM story - apparently MM had deal in place to sell his story after being cast aside by Phil. Final straw was being removed from the This Morning VIP after-show at the NTAs in Jan 2020. Same event where he tried to talk to Holly in clearly quite an agitated state.
10 days later Phil comes out.

Weird he never got divorced or had any kind of official relationship with a man in 3 years. He was already very happily living the double life he wanted to live. He only came out because his hand was forced.
The fact that MM wanted to do a story for £ about their relationship makes him a legitimate target for journalists now. If he was identified against his will at that time it would be a different story.

I’m no fan of Stacey, but it’s not PS’s daughters’ fault that their dad (or uncle) is what he is.
Yes they’ve benefited hugely from their dad’s fame, but now they’re facing a lifetime of everyone knowing their family’s dirty secrets.
They probably feel disgusted by it.

Disagree to a point.

Molly's entire career essentially revolves around her dad. She is the product of nepotism and her management of him hasn't exactly covered her in glory. She has managed him into this mess instead of dealing with it promptly in 2020, when he should have stepped down.

Yes, she's not responsible for his actions, but she has managed him throughout and they've allowed him to get away with it all.

And now it all ends in scandal when any agent or manager worth their weight would have dealt with it efficiently. She's not good at her job because she's been protected and given a leg up at every stage because of who her father is.

And as for Ruby - she has blue ticked herself on social media (presumably simply for being the daughter of Schofield) and her pics show her unashamedly living a life of privilege and luxury which I have no doubt her father funds.

The rumours have been going around for at least three years, and at no point has she made an attempt to distance herself.

Someone needs to send ITV some Discworld books stat

As if this cock is one of the best broadcasters this country has ever had. He’s hardly Michael Parkinson or Huw Edwards. What bollocks.
More akin to a Micheal Barrymore than anything else. Similarities- both thought they were untouchable but have come plummeting down to earth. I have a feeling that PS might do the soap awards and then that is it. They might have to pay him to do nothing while his contract ends.

I can feel no sympathy for any of his family. Like Holly, they have aided, abetted and covered for him, all to keep the money rolling in. If Tim's victim hadnt gone to a counsellor, no one would know about his crimes but the Schofields so they would have covered that up as well. They are all as bad as each other.

If Frizell goes then I can see Holly maybe only staying for another year of This Morning before getting the boot herself. This whole ordeal might make ITV realise she's not as popular as she was say five years ago. Her shows with Lee Mack, Freddie Flintoff, and Bradley Walsh have all flopped. Before that the BBC and ITV were competing to try to tie her down to an exclusive deal, but will either be interested after this?
