PS pinched the Joseph coat! And he states here that HW was the only one at TM who knew he was gay. So she knew about grooming the runners then for sure. And they say they will never part as TM presenters LOL!

Ive learned the hard way having inherited one for a Sibling! your in denial for so long because you can't comprehend until its to late and its you like a brick thrown at your face! all kinds of abuse thrive in silence, the victim is in a damned if you do damned if you don't situation while perpetrator using a Jekyll and Hide persona is aided and abetted by the Flying Monkey enablers

That whole episode was so cringeworthy, it felt like that convo should have been done in private between P&H. P trying to be all upset and mentally drained, not through the actual uttering of the fact that he is gay, but the fact that there was going to be a huge spread in the rags and he was not in control. He didn't mind what he did behind closed doors.

Eamonn and Ruth saw it all, it was magnanimous of Ruth to go over and hug him like she did, as for Eamonn we could see him absolutely cringe when Pip grabbed his hand and he had to get into a group hug. :sick: Obvs the disappointment that it was not his resignation made him punch drunk at the time. wtf, I could hear him think.

Precisely..I recall all the Princess TippyToes drama on the TV AM sofa back in the day between Anthea Turner and Eammon.

I remember him defending himself saying that he was an old skool journo who learnt his trade by having News Editors throwing their telephones across the room at hacks failing to get the top story. I've respected him ever since.

Eamonn is an out and out journalist, starting from very young on some farming programme in Ireland iirc. He can command the toughest of political interviews to some lightweight stuff. Going back to Open Air on BBC back in the 1980's which was a daily programme discussing tv programmes, ohhh the ingenuity of it all, ground breaking at the time.

He has worked on most tv channels now, BBC, ITV, Sky, GB news, just needs a spell on Talk TV now!

She has been a good presenter on Morning Live, it is obvious she can think on her feet and is on top of her script and essetially does not waffle.

The story that was going to come out was to do with MM.

I think it was no surprise to anyone (including Eamonn and Ruth) about Phil’s sexuality but it was the fact he made a big song and dance about the reason for the big coming out was all to do with mental health and not wanting to hide it anymore/ wanting to be his authentic self etc so I think Eamonn means they only found out about MM after the coming out saga and then it all made sense.
 
I think Stacey Dooley would be a good shout, she seems a good people person - similar to how I feel about Davina McCall, I think they're (...or at least appear!) genuinely interested and caring when speaking with people - like they'd be good nurses if they wasn't in the public eye.

I dont think it would be Stacey Solomon, whenever you like her or not she can probably charge 25k+ for one IG post, so probably wouldnt "need" to work 4 days a week. Mind you, its constant holidays for the main presenters anyway isnt it?

Was glad to hear Philth has gone, but his statement read all kinds of egotistical, controlling narcissist, "see you at the soap awards" ...ie, I'm still around and haven't been cancelled, its all still on my terms and I am in control - nerr nerr. Grrr!

Eamonn got on well with Fiona Phillips. He used to call her Miss Fiona.

He didn’t get on well with Anthea. He probably saw her in a similar vein to Holly - ditsy blond airhead from children’s telly. I saw a clip of him in a tv worse moments style programme with Anthea, which he would definitely get cancelled for today. He reached across and ruffled up her hair. Which sounds innocuous but was agressive which was why it was on the programme. Even my OH did 😳 face when he saw it. It was done to humiliate and put her in her place. I think in his eyes she got “uppity” too. Not a fan of hers but the powers that be decided she was his peer so he should have lumped it. They were the early Phil and Holly except they went straight to the hate part, missing out the personable years.

He is not adverse to an ultimatum either

The only people who are speaking out very publicly are people who have scores to settle…Wooten, Holmes, Hopkins. The rest who hated PS and perhaps HW rely on teasers and emojis. If Wooten, Holmes and Hopkins were still involved with ITV they would have kept their mouths shut like all the rest. I am glad they are leaking like a tap, god knows Holly’s PR people love it, it got them what they wanted, but TV is full of egos and protecting of status, and those three had their own egos pricked - they are not dissing ITV for the greater good, they do so because of their own hurt feelings.

I never suggested for once that it was his daughters fault! My point was they are all involved with each other work wise….YMU! She works for them and Molly is Stacey’s talent manager!

The papers had got wind of the MM story - apparently MM had deal in place to sell his story after being cast aside by Phil. Final straw was being removed from the This Morning VIP after-show at the NTAs in Jan 2020. Same event where he tried to talk to Holly in clearly quite an agitated state.
10 days later Phil comes out.

Weird he never got divorced or had any kind of official relationship with a man in 3 years. He was already very happily living the double life he wanted to live. He only came out because his hand was forced.
