It’s another case of the woman not being a sympathetic victim so his behaviour is excused. He is vile. A manipulative, toxic, bully.

Absolutely. It’s one of those cases where both things can be true - yes of course she is bloody awful, but he was and is every bit as awful as she is. ( Actually I think that in many ways he’s worse. She’s never made much of a secret of the fact that she’s a gigantic pain in the arse. He’s sly, underhand and a complete misogynist ). He just had better PR.

Totally agree. She is what she is and shows herself, in fact she pretty much admits it most of the time. He paints himself as this sweet, funny guy. When in reality if you watch the clips he’s vile…..on their own program. Re watching the clips he was a complete abuser.
Has he changed his personality completely now with Emily?
We’re him and KP too alike? And is Emily so beige that he just gets his own way continuously?

I always wonder about big age gap relationships and narcissists, they seem the perfect conduit for their personality traits to run wild

There are times he slips with Emily too though so it is still there but he hides it better. There was an incident years back but it's been so long, I forget exactly what it was. I think it was along the lines of he got tickets to go on holiday somewhere and because she said she had already been with family, he wasn't happy and couldn't hide it. He had a tantrum so she had to placate him and say she was sure it would be more fun with him. I'm sure it's talked about in one of the earlier threads.

He also thought it was funny to tell the world she was subconscious about her knees being shown in pictures by showing her knees in pictures.

Yes...he was upset she had been to Kenya previously with her family!!

I said this before in an earlier thread, but there was a scene on his reality TV show where Peter was going away, and Emily was there. I don't remember the full scene, but Emily said something to Peter, and he responded by licking the side of her face, then pushing her back and rolling his eyes at the camera. It was such a nasty moment that made me think, why the hell was she with him?
 
I wonder if Emily’s dad is narcissistic. He introduced his young daughter to someone he had operated on. Firstly there is a blurring of professional boundaries and if a guy 16 years older than my young daughter started showing an interest in her I’d kick his arse to the curb. Emily is clearly an attractive intelligent young woman who could do much better. It would make sense if she was raised by a narcissist that she would end up married to someone very similar.

She was very young when they got together and I’m sure that massive power imbalance of being with someone so much older meant he ensured he was able to mould her into someone who would overindulge him. I’m sad that all these years later she hasn’t wised up and is still letting him dip his mini chipolata
