Overrated TV shows

1000% agree with anyone saying Tiger King! Horrid memories of watching it during Lockdown #1 in my bf’s mum’s conservatory (don’t ask) and it made a crap situation a million times more unbearable 😂

The remake of All Creatures Great and Small, it’s utter garbage, people are making out like they can’t wait for the next series, crap. The scenery and villages are great, love James Herriots books and the original series, but it has just not worked as an update.
(I am from Yorkshire and the locals honestly cream their knickers every time it’s mentioned)

Big Bang theory
The latest Gavin and Stacey Xmas special was atrocious. I can tolerate the series though.
Skins in its day was so overrated beyond the first series, same with the inbetweeners.
GOT I actually loved until the last 2 seasons then I lost interest as it just got crap. Wished they had quite while they were ahead as it’s just a bit of a joke now with the ending.
Same as above with Lost.
 
Breaking Bad - I watched it because everyone said how great it was, I just though it was ok... very slow. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't watch again.
Prison Break - Loved it the first time I watched it, tried to watch again with my boyfriend as he has never seen it, we managed season 1 and couldn't do anymore than that.
Game of Thrones - Not my thing at all.
The Walking Dead - Again not my thing.
Peaky Blinders - Tried to watch it about 3 times now and just can not get into it at all.
The Simpsons - How is it still going?
Love Island - I think looking at their bikini bodies would make me feel crap lol. Just never got the hype with it.
Friends - I loved it back in the day and tried to rewatch it over lockdown 1 but just couldn't get into it again. Its definitely had its day.

i used to love the simpsons, ans still watch older episodes, but the new ones are unbelievablyyy bad

I would watch it with my dad growing up and I liked the movie with spider pig but I caught a few episodes since and thought they were terrible! My cousin still watches it religiously.

yeah it used to be intelligent and satirical, now it is just stupid humour and totally unrealistic storylines (not that it was every totally realistic of course). atm season 8 is on channel 4 in the afternoons which is good
