I was watching a youtube video abotu it, apparently basically none of the original writers are on it , which explains the awful changeThe Simpson was incredible from season 4-12. After that is downhill

yeah family guy has gone a similar way to the simpsons, also does anyone else find it seems to be increasingly sexist and racist? like they make things as a joke but it strikes me as very much "dog whistle" jokesI don't think I have the brain capacity to sit through many American series, unless the episodes are short and easy to watch, lol.
I struggled to get into Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Lost, and a few others for this reason.
Twin Peaks - I thought I would really like it because it's quirky and I like a good mystery, but I couldn't get into it, it was too strange and boring for me. I had the same feelings about a film that the same writer/director made called Blue Velvet.
Tiger King - thought I'd watch it after seeing all the memes, but I couldn't get into it at all.
Emmerdale - I just always found it really dull compared to Coronation St. and Easties
The Office US - I agree that the memes and screenshots are funnier than the actual show.
Pretty Little Liars - I feel like it went on for too long and might've worked better as a mini series. They started adding unnecessary or far fetched plot points.
How I Met Your Mother - I didn't really like any of the main characters.
The Simpsons - It definitely lost its charm after season 12.
Family Guy - Started to go downhill after season 7 or 8.
i hate all period drama tbh, never got the fuss over downton abbey eitherBridgerton
honestly the main character is bland and there's no chemistry between her and the Duke. I think the only reason people saw chemistry between them is because the actor is good looking and it was easy to insert themselves into Daphne (?) as she was so bland. Without that it's just some love story with some turns here and there but you pretty much know that they'll be together by the end and nothing that 'dramatic' happens where you're like "oh no! maybe it won't work out!" because from the start you can tell that the two are being pushed to be together.
Basically, just dull.
