Just on the chat about the Civil Service and a bit different - I know someone who lost their job with the CS because they had searched their ex-partner's details to find out her new address and then used that in emails to his ex to frighten and scare her. At the time he denied the whole thing but after an investigation he was let go. There is quite a bit more to it but you never know who could be reading these threads so I won't say too much. I just remember at the time the lies he was spinning to the people he worked with and how nobody in the CS was taking it seriously.

The ex partner had called in and was put through to one of the departments with people speaking to her from NI and from the details she gave, one of his colleagues recognised her as his ex and told him and then it just escalated from there so her new address, living arrangements etc very very scary. I suppose can't really blame the CS on that as more an individual that worked for them but freaks me out thinking about it.
 
Don’t know who this person is but they should be no where near children. Sure get 3 other women to do the heavy lifting of growing the children. The bleeping arrogance.

Isn’t that the norm in Hollywood where the big stars hire a womb so they don’t ruin their figure.

Yeah she would’ve frequented RTE probably more so than the northern channels.

You know I'd completely forgotten about her until this morning. And then I remembered 'Hellooo sisters'

In fairness considering women's rights in the Free State as a teen she most likely accomplished a lot. Ended up in a care home in Donegal apparently

Yeah the south was always that bit behind on women’s issues, didn’t they used to get the train to Belfast for contraception?
