The thing is these guys are smart. When I was about 15 I had a summer job in a local shop. I was at the counter one day sorting out the newspapers and felt the owner brush against my back/ass. He made it seem accidental like as if there wasn’t space for him to just walk past be and at the time I was very innocent/naive so wasn’t fully aware of what had happened if you know what I mean. It was one of those things that you second guess yourself but now in my wisdom I realise exactly what had happened. Thankfully it was only a summer job.

I was the strong willed type, the one who would have been waiting my opportunity to use a packed trolley to ‘not so accidentally’ bang the sharpest corner of into his balls 😜

Think I was always one of those people acutely aware of creepy men/boys. Totally seeing absolute sleaze bags for what they were and not dismissing it as banter.

Yeah, I was just a bit… that seemed weird…. Thought there was plenty of space behind the counter…. Maybe I had just misunderstood……..


For the record there was plenty of space behind the counter!
Now that I am remembering about it I have to say there was a guy probably 30 at the time who worked there who made sure I didn’t have to stack the shelves with the porn mags which they stocked when working and when there were guys clearly coming up to buy them he would swap places with me on the tills. So they aren’t all bad. Trying to remember his name now as he was a decent bloke.

Yeah, that’s been a controlled explosion. They probably had all sorts of anti explosion chemicals/covers on top of it. I’m just glad they found it before some kids had a bbq or something on top of it as it could have been a catastrophe. Hopefully the residents can get back to their houses tonight.

I’ve seen the damage a pipe bomb can do you can be sure that wasn’t insignificant.

Yeah, I think Alison has mis judged this here. I’ve seen a few other videos and for a controlled explosion there was a pretty big explosion. Dont. Know what she was expecting but there have been many families put out of their homes for a couple of days for this so I think she hasn’t really understood. Thankfully it was found as an uncontrolled random explosion could have been a horror show

I first worked in civil service fresh out of uni around 2005 in a sector that was traditionally mainly men and it was still very much like old boys club and here comes these young women fresh out of uni. Type of men who thought nothing of calling you ‘good girl’ or thanking you followed by a pat on the arse. I remember my team being called to seniors office one day, it was just me and 3 others (all men) we arrived and he told us to take a seat and said ‘sorry there’s only 3 seats violet you are gonna have to come sit on my knee’. Thank god times have somewhat changed now and those old boyos all left on early retirement with big payouts.

Btw I liked your post not because I liked your experience but appreciated you sharing it.

It does annoy me as I have amazing males in my life but the arseholes that act like wankers really ruin it for everyone.

Himself just sent me this from upstairs saying it’s a true representation of me tonight 😜

Forgot I stripped the bed earlier, devastated when I went to go to bed at 11.
Pretended I just went upstairs to use the loo.
Came downstairs to catchup on the soaps I had no interest in and acted shocked when he went on up and discovered it unmade.

He wasn’t best pleased, but has made it with minimal huffing!
I can now turn of the soaps I wasn’t really watching & retire to a fresh bed 😜

It’s actually the worst thing on earth. I would rather clean the dirtiest bog on the planet than the dreaded bed change. Obviously the sense of achievement when it is done is amazing but you can tell Elon and his mates have never had to do it as they would have invented a wee robot to do it if they had.

My top winter tip though is get two duvets so himself can’t take it all and you can be warm!

Those mattress toppers from TikTok shop are brilliant and only 18 quid , so thick and comfortable.
 
A female colleague of mine lost her tit because of a messy bloody mess she left in the toilet which I happened to stumble into on Monday. I keep reassuring her 'I saw nahin' but she continued to bawl. She keeps looking at me funny and I keep looking at her as much as to say it's fine.

On the other hand though that part of my life is no more which tbf I'm inclined to forget.

Also forgetting is not a bad thing.
