Thinking back it was probably because he was younger than her. She was freaking out about turning thirty and he still had a couple of years before he did, and he did say on more than one occasion that he wouldn’t “settle down” until his thirties. If she’d had an ounce of patience though she probably would’ve got a ring from him by now and be on course to planning a family instead of bumming around with Lordon. She’d still have friends in her life too, isn’t Charlotte friends with Forky?
If she could’ve got over the chav element of course.
 
Say what you want about Forky but at least he is selfless enough to take care of someone that's not him. I appreciate him rescuing a dog instead of getting it from a breeder, which is what most influencers do. I could never imagine Niomi taking care of an animal, that would require her putting her narcissism aside and thinking of someone else for once. She only uses animals as props for her Instagram stories.

Of course Niomi only thinks in terms of what others can do for her, for example raise her status. Never would she use her privileges to lift someone else up to her level.
 
I feel like she never had any attraction to Forky, she was just using him because she was at a really low point, and he happened to be there and gave her attention, so she clung onto it for a time. The video where she moves from her friend’s flat into the shed, he’s the one who shows up super later on a Friday night to help her pack (after she ordered boxes the night before and was freaking tf out).

She was so proud of that shed because we started shitting on it lol!! I think we underestimate the influence this forum has on her, to be honest. It's probably the reason she's depressed - but it's only because she refuses to see that we're not random haters and that we just see that she has lost her way. We're like the only therapists she accidentally has when she refuses to see a real one and if she'd only listen, she could turn her life around - aren't we all genuinely people who used to kind of like her until things went south? We're the only self help book she needs: I imagine of course that it must be incredibly hard when one is as fragile as her and just all around not very solid and sure of herself, to read criticism, because it feels personal. But it's not that complicated. She just refuses to see that we're just right, all the time. I would be so surprised if 1. the breakup with DJ wasn't about issues around control and around her lack of awareness re: her own job and contradictions 2. if Lordon wasn't an asshole who leeches on her and 3. if all was well right now between her and her family. Of course we may have been wrong. But anyone can see she doesn't radiate happiness.
 
I think she was using Forky because he was there at the right time, he was a nice distraction from her boring life and she got him to pack her stuff for her the way daddy Joey did. She said she drops something the moment she's bored with is, guess she did the same to him.

Also you can't trust someone like him just because he has a job and adopted a dog, the dude follows the entire Trump family and Stephen Miller who is an absolutely horrendous person, on Twitter and his other social media.
 
Don’t like Forky one bit but tbh I think Niomis morals might have been closer to him than we think. Not saying she’s a trump supporter, but she clearly enjoyed being a socialite and never does anything to give back to her community or advocate for marginalized communities. The fact that they even dated tells me at the very least she doesn’t mind the tit he was spewing.

I also don’t think Jamie is in the Netherlands. You can’t convince me that Niomi would’ve stayed behind if she had the opportunity to go play “posh British influencer” for a weekend.
 
Forky is not a good person, but he has a few redeeming things though. He has his own successful business, he's not shy of working hard, he does things for others and I honestly think that in general company he's a kind person even though I don't agree with him on loads of things (like women in kitchen thing). He got along well with his family, too. He's active, loyal when it comes to family and friends, owns a house (multiple?). What I also like is that he wasn't too serious. I actually liked that about him. I know some people here thought it was childish, but at least didn't handle her like like princess you know? Like throwing her in the water or whatever. Yeah silly but at least he wasn't taking things so seriously all the time and not in a "chasing each other around the house" kind of way. Imo he was good for her and he seemed genuinely into her. He also had the same future in my mind, a nice house, a dog, he wants kids some day.
yeah I don't agree with Forky's trump ways but in other ways I am able to see he does have a lot of what Niomi wants and needs, I do think he was good for her and he also wouldn't waste away in a relationship with her because he knows he needs to eat lol
 
I don't really know much about Forky tbh - he was before my time here really but I don't think he'd stand by and let her get so physically frail and unwell.
Obviously I know it isn't a man's job or right to police a woman's body but he seems the sort to bluntly ask what was wrong and be concerned. I could see Lordon secretly pleased she's so weak and unhealthy. Because she is more subdued and more importantly THIN.

Let's face it, Niomi is never going to be with a morally exceptional person because her core values are about securing her own privilege and status, and all other causes are employed solely to decorate herself with an air of benevolence and philanthropy. Joey was a one off and Forky was a decent match.

Just had to chime in on the irony of Niomi's Hollywood film chat missing it's creativity, art and soul and being "cookie cutter" when this borefest is the content she's producing.

The chat around health and body positivity too. It should be shocking that someone who has touted wellness for so long didn't recognise these deficiencies in herself - that is of course until you remember it's Niomi and her content was never really about actually being healthy.

As a fellow 32 year old I'm happy to report you body doesn't have to change for the worse just because you're getting older.

I just watched a video of her running in Barcelona with Forky, and their chemistry was absolutely off the charts compared to when she was with JW2 (and she was still with Joe back then). I couldn’t believe it! It honestly felt like I’d stumbled into some kind of time glitch where they were together before they actually were. I really think they could’ve made a great match if she had been a little more patient with him.
