The first one is exactly like the “asking my best friend to be my bridesmaid” vlog where Joey is going crazy unpacking and putting the apartment in order, while she spends the whole day lazing about

I noticed in her last video she refers to London/UK to "home" ("when I'm back home" etc). She loves seeing herself as living in Bali yet she can't say it's "home". Funny for someone always talking about being grounded, she just can't feel at home anywhere because she doesn't know what it's like. She's always been used to someone making it happen for her, as did Joe

Oh that's the famous peanut butter stash reveal video 😂😂 I can hear how irritated Joe was lmao, the "I keep buying peanut butter??" felt like a small breaking point. Niomi was particularly insane during the moving phase.

I think she’s more lost than she’s literally ever been before (which is impressive in itself). It’s obvious she doesn’t want to be/stay in Bali but Jamie seems to be giving her no choice. It’s obvious she’s quite lonely and isolated but tells herself people are just no longer serving her. While I hesitate to impose any kind of mental illness diagnoses on her, I think it’s pretty obvious she’s been experiencing some sort of depression and anxiety that she refuses to seek proper help for. Even her relationship is not one she can be proud of, her audience hates him and it’s a complete 180 of all her previous partners.

The thing that really gets me is that if she decided to, she could turn her life around in a month or two. She has the money, resources, and freedom to drop the leech, move back to London, dive into work, and rebuild relationships with friends and family. But that would mean admitting that she’s been on the “wrong path” this whole time and I don’t think her pride would allow her to do that.
 
She's got money, freedom and time but she's lacking the tools that most of us resort to when we have to get through tough days or situations. To me if feels like she's not really excited about anything, she looks bored and aimless putting on a front here and there of this excited Bali Niomi. Where she is at the moment is half her content, Bali makes it easy to show something.

Wow. You can really tell from the way she talks that she regularly had conversations with normal, intelligent people. Nowadays, it's all mentally debilitated life-coach mumbo jumbo with teachings, learnings, paths, and manifestation. It's hard to get a normal sentence out of her that wouldn't get raised brows.

People like her irritate me. She's an adult! Being dumb like that is a choice (and a privilege). She only gets to be disorganized and scatterbrained because other people pick up the slack for her and do the adulting for her.

Oh wow she was so different in the moving to India video. Upbeat, likeable and just looked so much better. She's become such a tedious bore now. Her life was actually enviable then. But now 😬 Donkey is such a pale unpleasant shadow compared to Joe. It's not even his looks, as if he came across as kind and hardworking you'd forgive him for that.
Quite sad seeing her talking about their forever home after India knowing what lies ahead..

Made me sad too. I mean, she had her dream man, her dream life, had what seemed like an idyllic future (for her) ahead of her, and she had the rug pulled from under her in such a sudden way, I think we can all empathise how devastating it must have been.

if only she had not tried to suppress the pain, had sought help, I’m pretty sure she would not be in the situation she’s in at the moment

I recall Joe.. but i dont recall why they split.. can anyone refresh my memory. The wiki says he dumped her.. was there any indication why?
