So you know we'd talked before about Nimbob potentially dabbling in drugs whilst with Lordon-of-the-Anal-Rings? Surely the below absolutely confirms this and probably resulted in some of those interesting photos of their Bali antics. Worried for her.

xxxx xxxxxxx are you curious about psychedelics?
Hi xxxx xxxxxx,
I hope this email finds you well.
I’m thrilled to share an opportunity with you that has been life-changing for me, both personally and professionally.
In 2008, a landmark (link)
by the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine found that
94% of participants rated it as one of the
most meaningful experiences of their lives, with 39% calling it the single most meaningful.
What is it?
I’m excited to announce that I’ve partnered with INME, an organisation specialising in transformative psychedelic experiences, to host a unique retreat from September 5th-8th. Under the support and guidance of a Psychedelic Doctor, a Psychedelic Psychotherapist, and other skilled professionals in this field, you'll have the opportunity to experience a life-enhancing psychedelic journey as part of a transformative retreat for business leaders.
If you're like me, you've probably noticed the growing buzz around psychedelics, especially in leadership circles. Publications like Business Insider and The Wall Street Journal have been highlighting how these substances are revolutionizing decision-making and leadership.
Historically, psilocybin has been used for thousands of years by indigenous cultures for spiritual and healing purposes. In the 20th century, psychedelics gained Western attention thanks to Albert Hofmann's discovery of LSD and the
Harvard Psilocybin Project led by Timothy Leary and Richard Alpert (Ram Das). These substances have been found to be particularly beneficial for high-performing individuals, showing promise in alleviating stress, reducing anxiety, and combating depression—ideal for optimizing both personal and professional lives.
My own journey with psychedelics began years ago when I was exploring ways to gain an extra edge. I found myself very inspired by a book called
Stealing Fire by Steven Kotler and Jamie Wheal which explores peak states of consciousness, or "ecstasis," amongst leaders and highly endorsed psychedelic experiences. I went on to learn as much as I could and continue to as my experiences have all been so positively impacting.
I firmly believe that the greatest teacher, problem solver, and guru lies within us. For me, the conscious and sacred use of psilocybin has been a vital tool to access this inner wisdom. As Stanislav Grof said,
“Psychedelics, used responsibly and with proper caution, would be for psychiatry what the microscope is for biology and medicine or the telescope is for astronomy.”
So, this isn't for everyone but if you feel called, it may be just what you've been looking for. My aim for this retreat is to elevate your leadership skills, enhance decision-making processes, and inspire you to lead with greater empathy and vision.
The retreat will be in the Netherlands from
September 5th to 8th. There are only
5 spaces left.
If you're curious and want more information, hit
reply and let me know. I'll share a detailed overview and we can discuss your participation.
Warm regards,
Jamie
